Idea for an Epithet Erased OC: Character with the epithet “Insight,” which allows them to talk to literally anything. Chairs, dogs, rocks, anything at all. the caveat is that they have to talk to the thing to get information, which they aren’t very good at.
The character himself is a spry Boy Detective archetype. His dad is a gruff noir detective and his mom is a kid’s show host.

i don’t know if it’s tokenism or just the lack of alternatives. they’re the only gay male characters on the square right now and don’t have that many connections to other people so wadey probably thought it would be a good idea to put them together to give them more screen time and storyline potential. but they just don’t work as a couple at all and are dreadful to watch together.
