First nuclear powered surface ship - Launched 1957 - Had her first nuclear accident in February 1965 when the coolant was removed before the fuel. 60% of her fuel assemblies were stuck inside one of the reactor cores. The core was removed whole, kept for two years, AND THEN DUMPED IN TSIVOLKI BAY - Had a second nuclear accident in 1967 after a coolant leak. The leak was located by BEATING THE SHIELDING WITH SLEDGEHAMMERS. This caused enough damage the reactor was deemed non-repairable, leading to all three cores being removed from the vessel with shaped charges - Decommissioned in 1989, due to her hull being worn thin by ice friction. Still survives as a museum ship
