If you’ve been following my blog you’ve seen that I’ve shown you my latest pieces of work through images or videos, but even thought that is the best way to show my work, without any needs of description or maybe a brief one, there are still things that can’t be shown only though images.
So here’s a bit of me that you don’t know most certainly.
On my header says I’m an actor based in London, and that is true, but doesn’t says I’m a londoner or how long I’ve been in London for, nor even what i came for.
Even thought what I came for can be maybe guessed easily I’ll still let you know. As an actor I always looked hollywood films or Uk films, and even I’m spanish and I can say that we have some good movies and some good actors, I’m not a huge fan of spanish cinema, don’t really ask me why, because or I won’t really find and answer or I’ll find a really long answer that I don’t wanna say.
So as an actor I look forward on my career to go to hollywood, and there is where I started actually, but it’s hard to get a working visa in the united states, but studying there helped me to see what I needed, and that’s what I’ve been doing in London since I got here.
I came with several objectives, but a main goal, and all those objectives where steps to it. I came basically to build a resume as an actor, then also get exposure, and then put together all the stuff I needed to apply for a working visa.
Well so far I can’t complain, and I’m still going step by step and without making much noise, but fullfilling a dream that everyday is more alive.
When I got here I gave myself some time to do all the steps needed here in London before my next move, which was Vancouver at the begining, with looks towards Los Angeles.
That was the plan, but then something changed, I got to put together all I needed to get my working visa, and seemed to be enough to apply and get back to Los Angeles without having to go to Vancouver for another year.
Now this are great news for me, even I have to keep myself calm and keep working as I’ve been doing for all this months, that seemed to me that I was working good but I always doubted if I was doing good enough.
I probably could have done better yes, we all can push ourselves further, and that’s what we should go for, but being honest, I can say I’ve been working hard enough and now I’m seeing the results. And the results are good!
The most amazing thing is that I think to myself, oh well, I haven’t done that much… But when I write it down it does not look the same as it looks on my mind, it actually looks a lot more than my head thinks.
