i had more ideas in the sketch {a leather jacket, chain around waist} but i got lazy n didnt like the way the jacket looked with his head turned back and the bandana i had over his tail looked silly.. aND I HATE DRAWING CHAINS

Hey there, everyone! I’m excited to announce that this story is now online and free for everyone to read! This story used to be a patron perk but I decided I want all my short stories to be free online so that folks can get to know my characters better.
This story is written so that you don’t really need to know anything about me or my creative projects to enjoy it. I originally wrote it for a writing class in college back in 2010.
Unlike JW & the Sparrow’s Ring, this one does not have illustrations. I might go back and illustrate it sometime in the future though!

Sphinx Tim again!
Here’s a small AU for this I guess.
One of Wonder Woman’s villains, (Aries maybe?) uses a spell to turn the planet into a giant version of ancient Greece, transforming some heroes and villains into either mythical monsters or demi gods.
Tim got the shit end of the stick and ended up in the middle of a mountain pass with the body of a Sphinx. He’s unable to leave as some type of magic keeps him tethered to the area, so with nothing better to do, Tim decides to help people make their way through the mountain pass safely.
If the people he greets are good folk, Tim will ask them a very simple riddle, and even if they don’t answer correctly, Tim will just let it slide and escort them anyway. However, if someone really sketchy or really bad tries to pass, Tim will give them a nearly impossible riddle to solve, before scaring them off.
Lucky for Tim, Kon, who is now the half son of Apollo, finds him a few weeks later sulking in the mountains. Of course Kon teases Tim about being a big cranky cat now, but neither can’t hide the relief they feel about finding each other.
So now Kon is trying to find a way to break the magic holding Tim, so that they can go find the others and get their reality back to normal.
