The Inuzuka groaned as he opened his door, knowing already that the voice belonged to Ino. He didn’t like to wake up before noon on days he didn’t have missions, he really didn’t. Especially on Saturdays. “What do you want, Ino?”
“Your dog keeps coming into my garden and digging holes!” she growled at him, “At least he knows to stay away from the flowers but still, I spend hours fixing what he messes up! Should you even be letting him walking around Konoha by himself?”
“Ino, Akamaru is a big dog,” Kiba said dryly, rubbing his eyes, “A very big dog.”
“That’s not the point! Make him behave!”
“If you can fix it, why is it so bad?”
“What if I came into your house and stuck flowers everywhere? Would you like that?”
“It’s not like Akamaru goes in your house…”
“He goes into my garden! That basically is my home!” she retorted and glared at him, “Next time I see him in my garden, you better be with him and with a bunch of flowers and chocolates, Kiba!”
As she stomped off, he just watched her with a small, amused smile on his lips.
“…Not a bad idea.”

so ~leiandroid posted something about sakura vs ino chuunin match and i’m just adding my two-cent? (or is it two-dollar i’m not quite sure and as you might have noticed from this whole sentence i can be kind of dumb sftyt :|).
warning for kinda-tl;dr fangirl ranting lol.
what i find most unfair about the match is that ino had a strategy going on. sakura, who was supposedly the brainier one between the two, didn’t. during an intense fight, ino was able to set up a trick and would have won (twice, actually, if you count the time when she just bitch-slapped sakura instead of knocking her out) if it wasn’t for naruto’s untimely interruption and that ‘inner sakura’ bullshit (judging kishimoto so hard for this cop out, tbh). to me, that screamed quality. it shows that ino has a cool head on her shoulder and is able to operate efficiently under pressure, two traits that (in my opinion) are important as a ninja and a fighter in general. she proves to be resourceful, even finding a way around the weakness of her clan technique by improvising on the spot.
additionally, i love how her team was worrying about her during that match against sakura. they were collectively facepalming because they knew she still cared about sakura, despite their numerous rows. that’s just how ino is. she is the type who cherishes her friends and companions, probably caring a lot more than she knows and shows. she has a tender heart and that just what makes me adore her so, so much. there are multiple facets to her personality; people generally see this loud, brash, annoying girl who can be abusive to her teammates and they judge her by that standard but on the flip side, they conveniently forget that ino is also wise beyond her age (flashback when she first befriends sakura), protective (my god EVERYWHERE she saved people even when she’s not obligated to do so!) and just lskjfnklasjfnkas beautiful inside out.
idek man. i get emotional over ino all the time. especially when people hate on her and i just went RAWR I’M GODZILLA TRAMPLE TRAMPLE everywhere. there are a lot more issues that don’t sit well with me when it comes to ino but i’m going all flaily and embarrassing at this point idek ha ha. um.
