i put together a pokemon team for us, fairy/ghost themed :D in order of team position~ (Fair warning, this gets a little venty, because i weaved in depression symbolism for the picks lol)
[[MORE]]- Sylveon! This is the obvious one. I loooove Sylveon, theyve always been my favorite since i first saw them. I like to imagine a scene of them evolving from Eevee at the moment i first realized “i dont wanna die”. Id imagine them, as an eevee, being the first pokemon thats truly *mine*.
- Mismagius! This is the one i saw that inspired me to look more into ghost types! I loove the hat vibes theyve got going on, and also the sorta headache/happiness blast thing theyve got HAHAHA. I think the happiness part of it is interesting, i like to imagine them as a pretty good therapy pokemon. And thats how id aquire it, antidepression~
- Mimikyu! This is an obvious one for the theming, and also i just really like them for transgender and neurodivergent reasons HEHEHEHEEHE someone else do that rant for me. Otherwise, i just really fuck with their look
- Kirilia! I really live how they look like a flower, and having a psychic type in the roster is just nice from a writing perspective. They could hear things even when i dont wanna say them. And also, Gardevoir is cool, but like. a Woman. so i stick sith Kirilia, since im like. 22 anyway. I probably wouldnt be very high level on many of them LMAO
- Litwick! this one has more heavy symbolism baked in. One, i like fire, and ghost type, so Obviously theyre in the team. But two, its sometimes said that they appear to guide lost children to the spirit world. And ive… sorta always considered myself a walking corpse already. But, im still here. And so is litwick <3
- Finally, and this one will seem out of place… because it is. Bolthund! The idea here, is thanks to Mimikyu ive sorta got 3 ghosts and 3 fairies, and i dont wanna break that symetry. So instead, get one that isnt an actual part of the team! And so, i present to you, the family pokemon! Who comes with me to battle when neccessary :) I picked Bolthund because hes cute and also ive used him before and he was so crazy good HANFHNSHFNSNF
And thats the team! hurray! im thinking of doing a thing where i play a pokemon game, and cheat myself all of these progressively, because trying to grind your way to your ideal team is like, the least fun part of pokemon games to me LMAO. Only question is which game… hmmmm
