I wish Kaito wasn’t one of my favs so I didn’t also have to see ship art of him and Gai when I look up fanart. I was eager to see their rivalry/relationship at first, but when the show actually aired and the writing for both characters quickly proved to be bad, I dipped out. It’s almost a NOTP for me now. Their chemistry is so forced and we all know it was done on purpose simply to echo the popular pairing of Ryo/Toma. Kaito is also made to be a whiny bitch most of the time just to elevate Gai’s character it’s like he’s just there to fill the role of “wind trooper”.
God, I’m so sorry to anyone who likes this ship or the way these characters are written, but after going through all of their scenes (and the other characters’ too), I despair at the wasted potential of this show. Maybe those user reviews influenced me idk, but I’m finding it not as fun to watch at the moment. It feels like a chore. I just want it to end for now and call it a day. Sorry.

im honestly shocked more ppl havent run with the Retry Now! concept in their games. ofc. not an exact replication of the MV but smth like a intensely powerful yet unstable yandere so obsessed with their darling that despite their duties as a magical guardians, they abuse reset the universe over and over again to make their darling finally. one day. fall in love.
