Im on another videogame!
This game you play as a cutesy baby seal and have to avoid an orca! Id play with a detachable keyboard n mouse or Xbox controller. If the Xbox controller support doesn’t work its our programmers fault he hooked it up and tested it. If your system is lower end do not play as well, the first entrance is lagging a bit we’ve noticed and everything we’ve done to try n lower it didnt do much.
Love this game. So proud of it, but god am I so happy to be done and not have to deal with my team lead anymore (I have beef with him and im never forgiving him for the shit hes said to me)

A quick kinetic novel for a game jam in prep for different game jams.
the whole week i’ve been bed rotting and playing non stop dating sims.
anyway here’s what i’m playing now he’s so hot and it’s all voice acted……… he’s british

Unfortunately, today was a struggle :( Starting to move onto the top down stealth section of my game, but fields of view and player detection is actually quite hard. Thankfully, there’s at least one person on Reddit willing to hold my hand for it.
Anyway, felt like it would be nice to share some sprites/animations I’ve worked on. One is the platformer death animation and the other is the forward idle for the stealth game!

I made another zine for a cozy analog jam on itch.io! This one is about how to taste coffee, and run a coffee tasting. Good for morning coffee breaks, groups of friends and just having fun learning more about that bitter wake up juice so many of us love!
Documents include pdfs of the instructions, coffee tasting pages and a booklet document to make an all in one zine to take on the go!
Greetings, Dan here!
So this past weekend, I ran another personal playtest of the Festival of Fighters current rules, and I thought I’d share some of my insights for any GMs out there running a playtest of their own or planning to. Even thought he final game is envisioned to accommodate globe trotting adventures of wuxia warriors, as well as competitions to prove who is the strongest, this session was mostly a test of character creation and combat. As such, we ran ourselves a single elimination tournament, with a boss fight at the end (featuring some rules to be featured in the GM Toolbox).
Character creation went very smoothly with the testers having a blast creating their fighters. They particularly enjoyed the Taiji currents and how they helped them to flesh out their backgrounds. Many of the stories they came up with would fit in perfectly in any tournament fighter. They also very much enjoyed creating their own Fighting Styles. One suggested improvement was to be able to name your fighting style on the character sheet. For that matter, the character sheet was something they would like to see sooner than later. Something I agree with, even if it is a temporary one. While I understand the necessity of playtesting on just paper some times, character sheets go a long way to help organize all your character’s information.
As for the one-on-one battles, the tournament was filled with amateur fighters, that is starting characters. Something we quickly learned is that one-on-one battles between new fighters are brutal. That is to say, the mechanics of combat worked well, but battles ended very quickly. This mostly came from the fighters having low HP to their damage output, making PvP fast and brutal. This could be addressed by the GM in a couple of ways. First a round-robin team battle a la King of Fighters would have worked well to lengthen tournament rounds while retaining the quick battles of low level one v ones. Alternatively, and probably ideally, the GM could take the player fighters on a short adventure to let them fight some common thugs/martial students to build some experience points before the group entered their first tournament.
In either event the feedback gained regarding these fights helped me to inform additional guidance regarding the early game for GMs in the GM Toolbox Section. Additionally, a starting adventure that brings the various player fighters together feels like a must here. Perhaps an adventure inspired by beat-em-ups such as Final Fight or Streets of Rage that could build toward a tournament arc would be best. But while those are in development, I think in addition to the character sheet, we will also begin working on some Adversaries for use in playtesting. Be sure to keep an eye on updates to the playtest document in the future as we add features/make updates.
In the meantime, thank you for your continued interest and enjoy this picture of our tournament bracket below. See if you can guess how the finals went!

If this next round of interviews doesn’t pan out, I may consider making my books on Itchio paid again. I don’t really make anything through Draft2Digital, and my savings are drying up little by little.
The only money I’ve made on Itchio so far has been through bundles. Wizard Big Magicals is my only paid work (b/c it will only be available on Itchio as part of the TransHet Jam), and it has sold two copies.
Cream and Sugar also had its first single sale (someone giving me money for it) on Itchio since June of last year. People are willing to pay for my work, but I want to know how they want to pay for it.
I love visual novels and silly little free games from itch.io but I feel it’s so hard to find any media ab them. Like the game was so awesome I need to consume everything I can ab it for the next 3 days but there’s nothing
