Howard :
What were you doing in the night the family died ?
“ I was at the theater. They played ” the marriage of Figaro.“ I really like that piece. I got home at midnight. Then I learned the Wintin’s death. How sad ! ”
Is there any evidence of the alibi ?
“Yes. Well, in my pocket, there is a sheet of paper I was given for the play with the date and time. That will prove to you that I was indeed at the theatre at the time I told you. Also, i was late for the piece, so i wrote a letter to my domestics saying that i was going at the theater. ”
What was their exact relationship with the family ?
“ I was tough and firm with them. I loved them, but in my own way. Well, I helped the family financially from time to time because my daughter isn’t good with money. She didn’t know how to write a check, haha! I was at their home every week. They were sometimes afraid of me. But we also had good times. ”
Hum… Sir Howard is such a lovely guy !!! It’s sad to know he was that rough with them !!! We can clearly see that he loved his family !
