今回の展示について、CDAからのコメントです。
「CDAの2025年最初の展示は
#박성옥 #IkumiNakada そして #황세나 の
3人の作家とともにお送りします。
今回の展示は「成長」という普遍的でありながらも
個人的なテーマを、多様な視点から探求する旅となります。
「成長」という言葉は時に変化の結果を意味しますが、
本展では結果よりもプロセスに焦点を当てています。
静かに、しかし絶え間なく流れる時間の中で、
私たちの感情や経験がどのように積み重なり、
変化していくのかを、“Quiet Current” を通して
繊細に描き出します。
展示が始まる17日（金）の午後6時から8時には、
参加作家たちも会場にて皆様をお迎えする予定ですので、
ぜひお越しください。」

Act I, scene I. What prompts the painter’s arrangement of figures, determines the setting? What excuses do we have for re-ordering the world to fit a story that unravels in the telling, changes with each brushstroke? The rehearsals, the run-throughs - the performance on canvas, in paint. These major or minor narratives evolve before us. Seto’s indiscreet figures in sombre woods, Thomson’s dreaming poets (or lost killers), we pick our way towards them stumbling through the trees. Morse’s quasi-Biblical scenarios suggest parables unwritten while Utley’s interiors with characters surrounded by props are waiting for a prompter. All dream or rehearse scenes, pacing in the wings. These works show what photography can’t do - the indecisive moment. They show something not happening, something that hasn’t happened, and may yet never happen…The curtain hasn’t yet risen. The audience is muttering finding their seats…

Изложбата ДОМ МЕЧТА, организирана от Комплект съвместно с Фондация „Изкуство - Дела и Документи", разглежда многопластовата връзка между изкуство и дизайн, показвайки закачливи, екстравагантни, любопитни и поетични обекти: столове, маси и умивалници, свещи, лампи, огледала, чинии, мода, бижута и други предмети – всеки със своя собствена история, оформяща оригиналното пространство на дома мечта. Домът мечта е обзаведен с предмети, създадени от художници и дизайнери, които пораждат афекти, объркване и илюзии. Обекти, които са продукт на свободния експеримент с формата и материала.
[[MORE]]Резултатът от експерименталното взаимодействие между дизайн и изкуство е селекцията на близо 40 работи, включени в изложбата. Домът мечта представя съжителството на изкуство и дизайн под един покрив чрез поставяне под въпрос на общоприетото. Процес, който води до пространство, в което границите между изкуство и дизайн се преплитат, за да създадат свят на необичайни, дори абсурдни комбинации и изразни възможности.

The No Art Today? – New Acquisitions from the Collections of Prague City Galleryexhibition presents a representative selection of artworks purchased for the Prague City Gallery’s collections between 2017 and 2020. Thanks to the regular budget allocated by its founder, the City of Prague, for the expansion of its art collections, the GHMP, as one of the few public galleries, has been able to systematically add to and expand the collections in its care for seven years now. On the basis of a careful study of the Prague art scene in particular, as well as with regard to its recent exhibition projects, the Gallery has managed to enrich its collections with contemporary works as well as to fill in the “blank spaces” in art, especially from the second half of the 20th century.
Second part of the exhibition continues until 30 January 2022 at the Municipal Library, 2nd floor.
