The 2026 Winter Olympic men’s hockey tournament begins Feb. 12 in Milan, Italy — provided that the ice and the arena are ready, which is something the nations competing in the tournament have been assured about.
“We’ve taken some steps to make sure that we have backup plans should we need them, but we’ve…

January transfer window: Grading big signings in men’s soccer
My first end of a semester as a teacher. Hats off to all the teachers there ever was.
Essay just got graded 20/20, which, I’m thankful for, but respectfully, you couldn’t find even *one* thing wrong with it? I assure you, they’re there, I could point it out for you.
Pray for me but jesus also pray for these JUNIORS AND SENIORS who don’t know how to average 3 numbers.
ALTA student asking when they will have their grade for an assignment that was due less than 10 hrs ago.
Oh hell no!!
Just because you can’t see the assignment in the gradebook doesn’t mean it isn’t there or that you won’t get a grade for your hard work. Trust that we know what we are doing!!!! We want to provide feedback and equitably grade for EVERY student, and that does mean hiding certain grades until all students have received a grade as appropriate. I know it is the end of the term, but we technically have until grades are due on Monday to complete our grading.
And yesterday I was exhausted and couldn’t focus on all the grading I had to do. I did one class, now I’m focusing on the second class. It’s been a wild term, and I’m glad we are finally at the end of it!
The fact that people are defending a girl complaining about getting a 0 on her grade because she “cited the Bible” is extremely fucking annoying.
It’s not an issue of citing the Bible. It’s not an issue of free speech. It is an issue of not meeting the rubric. She deserved that grade.
I don’t personally know her, but I’ve seen her type before. They have been handed things their entire life and have lived in a bubble. Whenever that bubble bursts, shit like this happens.
You’re in college. You need to learn how to be an adult and accept responsibility. Drop the class if you can. Withdraw. It’s okay.
Friday 5.12.2025 I Grading frenzy
It’s grading time again! The deadline is Monday 8th at 8am +2GMT. Hoping for a miracle and that I can do everyhting tomorrow so I can have Sunday off. Unlikely, but you never know. Tomorrow morning I’ll go to the gym first thing and then maybe Zoom with a friend while having a second breakfast and then I’ll start. I’ll update this post as I go.
EX=exam, BR=book review, SU=summary, ES=essay, LE=language essay, ME=method essay and OP=opinion paper.
Update 8.12.: Finished everything but the two at 2 o'clock at night, so six hours before the deadline and got the last two sorted at work. Yay! Back to focusing on my studies now.

Earlier than the 2025-26 NHL season — on Sept. 24, to be precise — we made daring predictions for all 32 groups. With 1 / 4 of that season now within the books, it is time to examine the validity of these claims.
Not less than considered one of them was already proved true. Not less than considered one of…
thank god for the handful of students who both actually write their papers AND are good writers. it really restores my faith in my teaching, the next generation, etc. etc. and what a joy to read amongst the rest of the slop!

The 2025-26 Premier League season has reached a key stage and the so-called conventional “Massive Six” — Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester Metropolis, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur — have skilled wildly contrasting fortunes on their technique to the 10-game mark, although all of them at present sit inside the highest eight, with Bournemouth in fourth place and Sunderland in…
