I found my old Kodak camera! It only goes up to 2025 which I think is kinda funny and sad, but the date was still 2010 when I opened it.

I think this is a golden find in my room. (It’s probably older than me omg)

They’re friends, grieving the loss of their comrade and supporting each other.

This old, old fabric was pulled out of my late grandmother’s sewing machine drawers. Who knows HOW long it was in there. The one with roses is nice, but I’m on the fence about the other pieces. Possibly too worn or too ugly. That green is . . even more hideous in person.

The shadow box had its natural grain (underwhelming) enhanced by me carefully painting a dark stain over it, followed by a medium stain over the whole thing. Looks a bit better, now. It got two coats of polyurethane this afternoon. Now I need to dig some of those elderly notions out and Arrange.

I actually want to be painting. However, I can’t seem to settle on a project. And I really shouldn’t paint anything more until I sell off a bit.

Making a little collection of Found Object Pokemon cards. For some reason there have been quite a few around the neighborhood.

I’m assuming the local kids (and possibly adults) are looking for valuable cards and toss disappointing ones, but there’s something about the nature of them being abandoned and neglected that makes them valuable TO ME.

Archer

I’ve been pretty busy this morning, so far, and I’m just about to get back to grips with the archer wip. I smell vaguely of copper-tox, clorox, and an oil-vinegar mix. Copper-tox because Leo has thrush on his great big feets, so every morning I have to clean them and douse him with the greenish gook. Some of his lovely white ‘feathers’ are greenish, now, as is a patch on my forearm. Hurrah for the lovely colors of copper, I like them so much better in a tube of paint or a mineral specimen. Clorox because, my kitchen. Yuk. And oil-vinegar because I want to put two found-item-art pieces in the show, and I’m using it on a wooden box instead of varnish.

A couple of pieces of semi-ruined belts, some old wood, and some worn denim. It’ll either be art - or it won’t. Ok - cracking my knuckles - time to get to work on the archer, water, and foliage.

It actually rained but I haven’t been to the beach in over a year. It’s not my native February, but it is beautiful.
