I’m going to share something new from my FF VII AU fic
Despite the cold, they spent a considerable amount of time gazing at the stars, pointing out constellations, and finding shapes in the colorful nebulous clouds.
When the frigid air finally began to seep through their many layers, Cloud knew it was time to admit defeat but he was not keen on having Tifa move. She’d settled against him, her head leaning back on his shoulder, staring up at the stars. A brisk wind forced his hand. Bitterly cold, the sharp gust had Tifa tucking her face to his chest and shivering.
“We should probably call it a night,” he said softly. He felt her nod against his chest.
Pushing herself back to look at him Tifa said, “Thank you. Tonight just what I needed.” Staring at him in the dark she noticed that the glow of his eyes had dimmed, same as when they were in Nibelheim. Her head tilted, brows furrowed slightly.
“What,” he laughed, “do I have something on my face?”
“Your eyes,” Tifa replied, “they glow sometimes.”
Even in the dark she could see the smile slide off his face, all humor gone. He ducked his head and his embrace loosened as he backed away from her to stand. In his absence cold air rushed in and Tifa shivered again. Bewildered, she asked, “Cloud? What’s wrong?”

Apparently they’re not the only fanon couple in that reel, and tbh idgaf what PlayStation is doing in their social media account to piss off SE after losing their exclusivity contract with them.
These companies and staff all fuck around trying to get at each other or being petty and spiteful for revenge, and the only ones who really suffer are the customers. Us.
So my advice is to not give a fuck and wait for the game and learn Japanese so you can get the actual story.

Because at the same time as Rebirth launches on other platforms they’ll also be giving it a free upgrade on PlayStation to implement the streamlined progression, so why wouldn’t they let PS players know there’s an update so people go back and play it again or maybe buy it for the first time to blast through with this new cheat mode?
Because that’s exactly what happened with Remake streamlined progression.
It’s much more likely they’ll focus on Rebirth now and after June when the game launches multiplatform they can move onto P3 marketing for real.
At best we are looking at a teeny tiny sneak peak less than a minute long tacked onto the end of the showcase full of ambiguous lines and generic scenes that make the theory bros and dumbasses squeal with delight only to be proven idiots later.
Seriously. Low expectations. It’s SE. They suck at marketing.

Well yes obviously they can, and in some cases are done sneakily without permission and result in people getting reprimanded. Remake had several scenes cut, edited or even added by the team while Nomura was unaware until it was far too late to fix, which is why there were so many ac shots re-rendered in Remake. Nomura planned to use one or two references, but the team went whole ham and he was stuck with their efforts.
Apparently P3 has the most supervision, but after the mess we’ve had previously, my expectations are low for them to just do their damn jobs the way they’re supposed to.

The mother’s mothership doesn’t pay attention to what sena does on social media. Also their social media arms in general took a huge hit with layoffs so it’s likely whoever is left behind isn’t being watched closely enough, which explains why they were able to delete any Tifa related posts from their feed and also totally ignore her existence in their busted marketing for the switch and xbox versions.
It’s honestly so fucking juvenile and pathetic i just cba with them. The way they run things is disgusting and they need to sort it out. This shit contributes to why they have a drop in sales. Nobody wants to support a company that fucks around like this.
