Can you see a light at the end of the tunnel? 🔦
Above the fold in today’s Seattle Times 📰 there was a story about ending COVID restrictions in Washington State. 🏛️ Can this be really happening? 😲 Fully vaccinated people can go maskless and attend events without worrying about the number of attendees. 💉
Immediately below the story was a large photo of Biden and Harris, 👫 maskless and both with huge smiles. 😀
It was exciting news 🎉 but it seemed a little too good to be true. 🤔 How many times have we seen restrictions loosened, only to be tightened again? For now, I’m hopeful.🤞
At the end of the day I took a walk to see how spring is continuing to unfold in our neighborhood. 🌷🌸🌹 I ran into our neighbor Ken, who was walking a dog. 🦮 We talked about local politics and about how we now have our vaccinations. I had my mask in hand but Ken was wearing his 😷 because it helps curb effects of spring allergies. 🤧
Next week three longtime friends and I are seeing each other after nearly a year and a half of separation. I’m wondering if we will ever feel completely safe again? 🥳
Is “normal” is in sight for you? 👁️
How are the restrictions where you live? 🚫
I hope you’re staying safe and well 🙏
