Ku, My Zonai OC.
He lay down on the plateau, feeling the jungle air pleasantly cool as day turned to night. A soft smile was on his face as he watched the moon peek its head over the horizon, a waning crescent in all its sublime beauty. Ku raised his left hand and played with the dark green ring sitting on his finger. A channel was carved through the middle of the ring, one-third crackling with lightning, one-third softly hissing with frost and one-third blistering with searing flames. The ring was his most prized possession, and he would never trade it away, not for anything, he wasn’t even sure if it was possible to do that. Past the ring and down his arm were flowing maroon tattoos that were half-floral, half-fiery, thrumming with a grave energy. He closed his eyes as the Jungle beneath him lit up in a blazing spectacle of fireflies. He was content and at peace, a dear friend close by. “Farosh’ll end up waking us up,” he thought as his mind began to fog over and sleep began to claim him, “Bet that’ll be funny.” With a content sigh, his head turned to its side and his breathing slowed as he fell asleep.
No nightmares troubled him that night.
