Oh my God. I just realised. It’s fucking Fallout. If next season has The Ghoul basically being the Nick Valentine unromanceable character(to lucy or anyone else) I won’t be surprised I’ll just be as disappointed as I was when I first learned Nick who will grow on anyone wasn’t a romanceable character. He was so interesting and his whole story and the trust and missions his sarcasm and witty quips are to die for also his moral code thing that costs big ass caps.

Again it’s Fallout literally anything is an option. For companions and romanceables. ghouls synths and randos. Except for Nick:/

Not gonna hold my breath for any Nick or Hancock appearances bc Boston and Los Angeles are like on opposing ends of america.

First encounter with Fallout:

Fallout was one of those game franchises that my brother loved playing, he was always super meticulous about how he went about things, I remember he would have notebooks full of Magazine and Bobblehead locations, special encounter locations, legendary weapons, etc. He never let me play, but he would let me sit on a stool out of his way and watch him play games. My earliest memory goes back to him playing F:NV and I remember being terrified of the Nightstalkers and telling myself I’d never play that game because they were too scary. Anyways so now I run a F:NV fanblog on tumblr and its one of my favorite games. Thanks brother <3

I think it was Mel or Melanie? And she was based off of one of my friends OC’s because I thought she looked pretty. I’ve never named characters after myself lol.

Dumb way(s) I died in Fallout:

Well there was the recent one where I was knocked off the cliff by a deathclaw because I was too much of a baby to just try to kill it :(

I have also walked off plenty of cliffs and high places in all the games I’ve played, walked through minefields when I knew there were mines there, idk in 76 I ate rotten food and died from some preventable disease

What would I improve in Fallout?:

Fallout 4? How it treats the female companions, Piper is annoying and written badly, you “fix” Caits drug addiction with some machine and then you can flirt with her in that very same conversation about “curing” her, Curie is a literal french sex bot, who acts childish and dumb as if she hasn’t been around for over 200 years and is a whole ass scientist. I’d love to see actual character arcs for them like we had with Valentine or Danse, instead of putting them in a new body using fake science or “curing” an addiction using fake science again lol.

As for the rest of fallout I’d fix all the racism good fuckin lord, the way Indigenous and Chinese people are treated/portrayed in all the fallout games is just gross as fuck and was kind of a turn off

I wrote this morning! It was actually hard to stop and go to bed (AKA lay in the bed and play on tumblr for an hour).

I’m writing some pretty visceral stuff and I got myself all geeked. As Curie says, “Ohh! There is to be fighting!”

I’ve always wanted to write a fic about a Super Mutant Hound who was a pitbull/bulldog that the mutants thought would be a great attack dog. But he was just too nice/sweet, so they abandoned him. Now he travels the Mojave wasteland, helping people in need and is constantly on the hunt for more head pats and scratches.

He meets a cat who’s his exact opposite, and is surprisingly the more lethal one of the two. Belonging to Benny, she’s used to a life of luxury at the Tops–but she still likes going out into the Wasteland when her owner’s not around to make sure she stays in her suite at the casino.

This may or may not be blurry… I’ve had this piece in the works for waaaaay too long: Codsworth and my sole survivor Wraith’s sad booty butt. I’ve also got two more Wandering Gardens planned and a few other things. Unfortunately, I have Essential Tremor so my hands shake and I’m not always able to draw, (especially the tiny robot details that I love).

I have played 76… once… I um, am a little scared of other players so… My very patient friend bought it for me for Christmas and I played with him. I was trying to talk to a protectron and a rando walked up and “killed” it even though I was standing face to face with it☹ I understand the need for scrap but maybe just wait until I walk away first. On the upside, he showed me a spot where you can launch skeletons off a cliff and I got to chase some froggies🐸🐸🐸 I plan on giving it another go, especially with the Wastelanders update and I would love to draw some of the critters.
