I understand why some people can’t get behind it bc that boy TREATED HER LIKE SHIT for five years. Was there a reason? Yes. Did that reason make sense to Ed at the time? Yes. But a reason ≠ an excuse and in order for their relationship to work, Ed’s GOT to learn some emotional maturity and show some remorse for how he treated Winry.
