Imagine you wake up in something that feels like a distorted dream. There are deep, long outdrawn sounds, as if a recordplayer is set on half speed. You are lying down. It’s hard to mive, as if you are glued to the floor, but your eyes are able to take in everything happening above you. You see 2 giants. One looks like the Djinn you released millenia ago, the other one looks like you. Same as you are yesterday, but still thousands of years younger.
You are able to move, slowly the sucktion beneath your body releases itself bit by bit, only to get stuck to the fraction of a millimeter in front of you.
You take in the sounds, they are words. Words you have never forgotten while the Djinn points at the smaller you: “It can never die, it can never be trapped. If you are separated by oceans, it will teleport to a random place at a random distance near you. Once it reaches you, your eternal youth is over, age will catch up to you and you crumble where you stand.”
You start screaming with your entire body, but the sound doesn’t come out. You see yourself looking down with a smug expression. “Easy,”
You try to sprint, but the faster you go, the more it feels like your skin is being ripped open. In the span of the time it took to utter these sentences, hours have allready passed for you.
You try to cry ‘let me end it now,’
But the other you walks away, not to be seen again for a million lifetimes.

Djinn are a bunch of assholes, man,
You make one wish and they fuck up your plans.
You wish for muscles and they bring you a man,
I’m fucking pissed.
I’m not a fan.
I saw that meme about everyone wears a mask and it’s someone in a Scream costume with a knife.
He’s not Magneto or Charles Xavier. He’s not my nemesis.
Chris is the boogeyman to me now. The Babadook. That’s what he decided to become to me. I hope he’s satisfied with the outcome of his choices.

I don’t care what or who he does, as long as it’s far away from me. He never was the…(redacted) I hoped he would become. I can’t tell if he feels equally wounded by me, or if he just makes those claims to manipulate women after me into sleeping with him/getting into relationships.
He did that with me: spoke of past relationships to garner sympathy. Just like so many men before him, who’d bitch about the relationships with their girlfriends hoping I’d give them head or fuck them on the side. Spineless sacks of cold jizz, every last one.
I thought he was the first real man I’d been connected to. I was so horribly wrong and I must forgive myself for that mistake. I must forgive myself for looking for the relationship I desired most outside my skin. That’s not how marriage, friendship, or anything of those natures work.
I can extend myself grace, as long as I remain conscious of it.
Thank you for this question, The Spirited Witch:
“I would love to know your thoughts/experiences with immigrant spirits such as fae, djinn, etc. These are more easily encountered in the urban, but I’ve heard of some lost in the woods incidents.”

A vector art of a genie from a magic lamp. A myth originated from Arabian myth and folklore. These beings were later describe as intelligent, free-willed creatures created from “smokeless fire” who exist in a parallel world alongside humans. The modern, Westernized idea of a “genie” stems from later adaptations in Western literature of One Thousand and One Nights.

This time we have some of my favourite Golden Sun Dark Dawn Djinn! Turns out I think I love all of the Jupiter ones… but I ran out of time to draw more! If I return to drawing more Djinn then I think I know which ones I’ll draw more of!
Then I wanted to draw an unusual form for Mother but I had no direction so we got whatever this is! But she does not want to be seen in this state. What if…someone saw her like this…?!

This handsome blue lad is a djinn.
More specifically, djinns are creatures from arabic mythology who can take many shapes (but the most common depiction is of snakes, followed by humans), and people usually seek them for protection or magical aid of some sort (wishes, charms…). That’d be the general gist of them.
They’re very cool and I’ve always been a fan of trickster mythological creatures :}
ive been fascinated by the concept of sacred prostitution lately. I really like the idea of using my body as an offering to the divine masculine physically manifested…
basically a sort of spiritual free use thing lol

the pinicle of femininity- the pinicle of submission
the mark of ownership
pregnancy is absolute violence and subjugation against the female- to accept it, embrace it, seek it out- is a highly transgressive act.

through transgression you find divinity
