god……. toxic yuri. to me. there’s debate in the fandom of whether sam and ruby loved each other, or if it was one sided, or if they truly just used and abused each other, and I say why not all? I think sam was so broken after dean died and so vulnerable and ruby preyed upon that 100% but sam tried to use ruby too, to use her to kill lilith, and I do think the first time they had sex it was more of a release for sam and more manipulation from ruby. but I do like thinking that along the way feelings got mixed up and messed up and wires got crossed, especially after sam started drinking her blood, and there wasnt really love but more like intense infatuation and ruby had something sam needed and sam had something that ruby needed but they were also kinda like two beings in bond with each other….. also my favorite samruby post is that crimson peak one that says “you poisoned me” “I did” “i thought you loved me” “I do” etc

i looked it up and ngl i’ve never really been into (consensual) deanruby but i could see it!!! anyway sam is riding castiel for his life feeling horrible bc he’s ruining an angel & asking cas to smite him or punish him or whatever while ruby is biting dean and yelling at him to stop treating her like glass or she’ll blow this whole house up & dean is not listening to her at all ❤️ and then they all have breakfast together the next morning and no one can make eye contact :)

I was never on team Dean x Ruby romantically. I mean much like Sam x Cas I just don’t see it I don’t get the point if we’re talking romantically it’s very clear that Sam & Ruby are the story being told. But also I just love the dynamic between Dean & Ruby of like “fuck you but I guess I’m saving your stupid life” & “fuck you too but I guess thanks for saving my stupid life” like. Platonically. Just to be clear. like. I love your annoying brother so I can’t let you die. For some reason my brother cares about your stupid demon ass so I guess we’re allies. “Stop calling me bitch.” I just? just wanted to remind everyone

i have a s4 idea rattling around in my brain where Dean comes back from hell still a demon and he’s come around to the whole idea of sam taking over to a) get rid of Lilith, who he hates, and b) save sam’s life, bc lilith is going to kill him. anyways he’s now very interested in being sam’s knight, second in command

but he finds sam w ruby and he is absolutely FURIOUS and INCREDIBLY JEALOUS that somehow while he was gone SHE became sam’s right hand demon!! but he can’t just KILL HER, bc sam doesn’t want him to!!! all the infighting would be absolutely deadly to the coup they’re trying to pull off!!

and dean and ruby spend ages catfighting and having angry sex until eventually a particularly egregious lilith disaster happens and they realize they actually need each other to properly put their sammy on the throne and pool their resources

it ends w a somewhat fucked-up poly triad between newly minted king, queen consort, & knight of hell

kind of want to write a wincest-centric Sam/Dean/Female Character fic, but I don’t know which female character. Originally I was thinking Jess, but then I was thinking Ruby, and then I was thinking both somehow but now IDK. the idea won’t leave me alone, though.

Opinion: This was a really interesting take on a Ruby who’s in love with Sam, but whose past self had fallen for Dean.  It’s a really lovely portrait of her love for Sam, and the conflict that comes between her demon side and her humanity.
