Hello! I keep trying to type up answers to this that aren’t too spoilery just in case I could possibly recruit someone new to Forspoken 😆
It’s the ship name for Frey Holland (protagonist of the aforementioned game Forspoken) and her sentient talking bracelet who is bound to her arm, affectionately named “Cuff” by Frey.
They’re both a couple of miserable, friendless bastards, and when they first end up stuck together they can hardly stand each other. But they’re both also desperately lonely, and having to share literally every waking moment (as well as potentially sharing senses? Cuff claims he can smell a dusty room via Frey), they end up in a sort of “I hate you, but I hate everyone else more” situation.
Any more would be major spoilers, but basically as someone who’s a sucker for bodysharing Cuffrey makes me crazyyy 😭 Turns out the secret to healing a miserable bastard is by giving them another miserable bastard for emotional support (and maybe just maybe they help each other start to heal and they finally open up to someone and and-shit I’m off and running again-gonna stop here so I don’t spoil LOL)
