ALTt’s Grim Up North (Watford)
A re-composition built from a 1980s film photograph and a later acrylic-ink sketch. The terraced houses could be from any industrial town, but they’re in Watford — proof that light and weather shape our sense of place more than geography ever can.
The piece sits somewhere between drawing and photograph, where shadow, reflection, and memory merge.
