got their attention, I hold ‘em
I tried to fix what was broken
tried to quiet what was loud
BUT I’M STICKING OUT.
BELLUM. I wanted to try the February palette for @color-palettes since I’m trying to do more art challenges, so I colored Aylin with this one ! (with a few lil modifications, ofc, just a few extra colors to Really Sell It)
not sure what I was going with as far as her clothing was concerned but I wanted to show off how beautiful and powerful she is so I did a pose that scared me but I wasn’t brave enough to also try drawing her Very Complicated armor lol
I think I might also color this piece in her normal colors later but for now … she looks really good like this <3
also please rest assured that I will never draw hands this good again in my life, I promise you that, they look non fucky for once but GUARANTEE that ain’t never happening again
I’m very very proud of this one honestly I’m trying to get back into drawing and it’s been a while since I’ve looked at something I’ve drawn and gone “oh that’s kinda stunning” but LOOK AT HERRRRRR

He should have been happy. After twelve long years, he was back where he belonged. Sure he wasn’t there for Kris, but Kris still visited the library from time to time, right? This was where he was meant to be. Where he could fulfill his proper purpose. Sure, everything had totally changed, but it was still home. It felt wrong to accept so much help from Swatch, but it was only temporary, only until he got back on his feet. And it wasn’t like he was doing it for free; he was working for it. With all of that in mind, he should be happy!

Chapter 1 illustration for Those Who Were Left Behind. Wanted to do a limited color palette for this one because I love working with limited color palettes. The palette I chose was Why am I cold all the time? from @color-palettes. Felt like it was fitting.
