Kpop Album Ranking (XO, My Cyberlove)

No.1 Hide & Seek

My favourite song for a reason. I love the upbeat bubblegum pop sound, it feels like an explosion of confetti (in the best way). There are traces of tropical pop which help to elevate the song, naturally Chuu sounds great. She really shines in these types of music genres. Oh, I actually liked her raps, they really fit with the mood and flow of the song.

No.2 Cocktail dress

Cocktail Dress is a moodier edition to the album with its alternative pop sound. There is a delicateness about this song that makes it so beautiful to listen to, it creates a mood and maintains it all the way to the end.

No.3 XO, My Cyberlove

XO, My Cyberlove is quite laid back for a title track, it delivers a sweet and lovely experience with great vocals. Its soft and delicate, because of that it lacks a level of punch but its still a great song.

No.4 Love Potion

Love Potion is a feel-good fast paced song with a lot of groove and a nice structure. It’s an easy song to listen to but lacks the impact that other songs have.

No.5 Canary

Canary is one of the more emotional tracks in the album, Chuu does a great job in conveying her desire for her “canary” to return through her vocals and tone. The tension in the song builds to a rewarding finish, its very enjoyable.

No.6 Heart Tea Bag

Heart Tea Bag is an R&B type of song with a relaxed feel and dreamy vocals. It makes me want to run passionately through the forest in a bright sundress just like Chuu does.

No.7 Limoncello

Limoncello leans towards minimalist, it manages to be catchy in its own way while providing a little groove to the song.

No.8 - Teeny Tiny Heart

A soulful song with a great bassline, it quickly gets you off your seat and dancing alone. Chuu delivers her lines really well, she adds a lot of charm to these types of songs. Overall, its a nice song.

No.9 Loving You

Loving You is an energetic hyperpop type of song with bouncy choruses and great vocal delivery. Sadly, its not my cup of tea, but blends really well with the other songs in the album.

Husk shifts to face him fully, his eyes soft and warm as he presses his cheek against Alastor’s, mirroring the gentle nuzzle.

He nuzzles a little closer, letting his nose brush along Alastor’s, and gives a teasing, affectionate nip that makes him grin. Then, with a quiet chuckle, Husk pulls him onto his lap, holding him snug and close. His hands cradle Alastor’s face, leaning in slowly, and their lips meet in a tender, lingering kiss that speaks of all the love they can’t say.

I know I say it a lot, but this community really is everything to me. A genuine oasis from what has been nonstop turbulence for over a decade. And it has been beyond healing being around so may kind, creative, golden souls 😭😭💜💜💜

In short, I have an incredibly toxic and lowkey dangerous mother. To the point where I needed intense PTSD therapy and am still recovering from a lifetime of infantilization, gaslighting, manipulation, and genuine life-threatening experiences. And every time I think things have settled down, she creates another explosion. And the healing process is delayed.

This is all exacerbated by the fact that she refuses to take any accountability for her actions, and is blinded by a childish pride that has reached levels now bordering on delusion. She thinks only of herself and immediately antagonizes those who disagree her. She has more than once called me names, threatened me, and straight up told me “Stop it, I’m watching something” when I approached her with suicidal ideations—all under the illusion that she is the best mother in the world, and that her children refuse to see that.

She also refuses to think about the future.

Years and years ago, my dad warned her that she’d run out of money if she refused to give a shit about what she was spending. And that reality came crashing down harrrddddd this year as she plunged herself into extreme financial debt, leaving her to leech off the rest of my family’s money (mine included). She’s on the path of losing a home that’s gone to shit, as well as losing both our dogs/one of which was adopted to aid with my anxiety and depression. And now this has become my responsibility, with the rest of my family refusing to communicate with each other/relying on me as a spokesperson.

At the end of the day, it could be worse. And I’m still grateful for the things I have/small slivers of independence I was able fight for over the years. And I’ve still got this place, I’ve still got friendo, I’ve still got BLORBOS <33333

Just gotta keep soldiering on.
