The Christmas holidays were here, and I’m back in Utah for the season, surrounded by family. Between family gatherings, dinners, parties and all of the general chaos that comes with this time of year, I decide to try and find something I can take all of my nieces and nephews to. I want to build memories with them of their Uncle that they only see once or twice a year….

I made it to another one of CBug’s college track meets to watch him Pole Vault. Regional championship’s are just around the corner, and his hope was to qualify. Alas, it just wasn’t meant to be. thinking about cbingos (Dawn Wisp Bug and Gnome) and kinda just their backstories. Bug and Gnome are both from the void but in opposite directions (below bedrock vs space) and Dawn’s from another dimension so Wisp is the only one actually from the world they live in but since she was pretty much raised by Dawn she doesn’t know anymore than her. What I’m saying is they have like so idea what is going on like half the time at most.
My brother finally found someone that truly makes him happy, and got married on August 23rd. I wasnt able to attend the wedding, but luckily they had the wedding reception last weekend, so I had a quick trip home to Utah to meet my new Sister-in-Law for the first time, and see the rest of our growing family.
I am lonely at half 3. But the kind of lonely I don’t get to feel any more. The sort of lonely where I need to stay up to half 3 to feel. The kind of lonely that I used to feel every day, surrounded by people. A kind of lonely, that I love to make myself feel just to fully appreciate how lucky I am to have such amazing people constantly showing their love for me.
