この子はお迎えして7年目くらいで咲き出したアデニウム
多分品種が違うのだろうけど花の色が全然違う
4月から10月頃までひっきりなしに花が咲きまくるので毎年心配してます

Dioscorea elephantipes
I let her out of the cage because she dropped the leaves 😁
I cannot believe how much this plant has grown since I bought her when she was the size of a pingpong ball.

I have 3 plants in my collection called ‘Stephania erecta’ however … they all look slightly different from each other … does anyone also have different looking S.erecta specimens?
Note: they’re growing on the same table with the same grow light and humidifier.
Plant 1 - my tiniest S.erecta who’s also been in my collection the longest. The caudex is brown and it’s leaves are a matte green that’s a but greyer than the other specimens. The leaf veins branch off closer to the edge of the top of the leaf, and appear slightly sunken into the leaf (more pronounced than Plant 2 and Plant 3). The leaves are round and cute! Its stems are the same shade of green as its leaves. This one wakes up mid February.
Plant 2 - my largest S.erecta specimen, obtained from Collectors Corner. The caudex is really pale. Leaves are round and cute, and veins branch off from the center of each leaf. Its stems are a pale green. This one wakes up at the start of Spring (during October).
Plant 3 - most recently acquired S.erecta from the CSSNSW 2024 Autumn Sale. It’s caudex is brown like Plant 1. It’s leaves are a more vibrant green compared to Plant 1 and 2 (will see how it grows when it gets adapted to my home’s environment) and veins branch off from closer to the top edge of each leaf. The leaves look more oval compared to Plant 1 and 2. What really sets Plant 3 apart from the other specimens is that it has red stems.
I wonder if they are all truly S.erecta? Is one or more of them misidentified? Are they all S.erecta and for some reason just all look different?
I don’t mind! They’re all cute! 🥰🥔
ALTmy babies :’) i love the pointy leaves (compared to the rounder hearts of my other love, D. elephantipes)
i think they are are a bit pale because my Big Rig grow light is too strong for them, but the living room is finally getting enough sun to keep the seedlings by the window 🙏

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while! Here is an update on one of my Stephania erecta caudexes 🥰

I gave my Adenia glauca a haircut at the start of Spring a few weeks ago. It’s growing fresh shoots! 🌱
