This can sometimes come down to personal preference, anonymous, but there are a number of choices, each sorted by move.

For one, some people with hypersensitivity issues find that using moves like Feather Dance or Cotton Spore effective—the latter especially because it can be done in small doses to create makeshift earmuffs that are effective in filtering sound. To this end, members of the cottonee line are especially popular.

Additionally, others prefer using Teleport to transport themselves to a fixed, calming location. It’s also useful when the person in question is rendered unable to verbalize their need to leave; most pokémon with this move are psychic and thus able to sense their partner’s distress or hear their thoughts. While the abra line are most known for their ability to use Teleport, the ralts line tends to be more popular, especially given ralts’s empathic powers (and kadabra’s tendency to induce headaches).

Other people with hypersensitivity issues prefer using moves such as Wonder Room, which can—depending on the power of the user—be used to create a comforting space anywhere the user’s partner may be. (Some pokémon capable of using this method are trained to keep their spaces small and to custom-tailor each space to suit their partner’s needs. Such spaces can be anywhere from soundless rooms with opaque walls in calming colors to transparent boxes that merely filter sound.) Solosis tends to be popular for this, as it can double as a stim toy if necessary (no, this doesn’t hurt it), but for reasons I admit I’m not sure of, psyduck is just as popular. Apparently, its vacant stare is both hypnotizing and calming.

And then, of course, some people may only need a pokémon that can help them navigate overstimulation without moves. In this case, psychic pokémon are often the best, as they’re capable of helping their partners communicate their needs, and because many psychic-types train through meditation, they often are extremely patient and capable of guiding their humans through similar calming techniques long enough to help them find a safe, calming (physical) place. Medicham is especially popular for this.

So, in short, I suppose it depends on whether you want to filter stimulation, remove yourself from stimulation, or simply have a pokémon who’s calm and reassuring at all times, but there are quite a few options for you, should you need it. Of course, don’t forget to talk to your therapist (if you have one). They may offer suggestions that will fit your specific needs—possibly even suggestions that aren’t listed above.

There are few things more uncomfortable than short clipped toenails.

Democracy is a fickle thing. Originally used by the ancient Athenians, as a political method to ensure fair and just rule for the citizens, is now used by the majority of the western worlds governments. But, in Ancient-Greek-times the only Athenians eligible for citizenship were males, over the age of 20 with predating Athenian heritage. And it wouldn’t be till the late 19th century that New-Zealand, South Africa and some European countries allow women the vote, with most of the world following. So how fair and just has democracy been?

Despite democracy being a long work in progress, it’s still yet to completely fail, like fascism or feudalism. Ideologies like Communism or Totalitarianism seem incomprehensible to the majority of the public, which in a democracy, are the citizens. Annoyingly there are numerous types of democracies, probably because so many ideologies have democracy as an underpinning quality. Making a democratic government difficult to understand. But the actual term, Democracy, is simple to understand. Demos meaning the people, the many, or the poor, and kratos meaning power, or rule. Put the two together, and you have power or rule of, the people, many, or the poor. But the only form of “rule” or “power” the people have is the power to vote (the idea of rule by the “poor” has never been seriously brought to question.) and even when we refer to our government democracy comes first. Is it possible that Democracy could have morphed so many times that it has turned into a different political ideology? 

Working progressively towards an ideal destination or specific realisation is essential to successfully achieve goal and uphold priorities. being unaware of your goals or losing focus of them, makes it easy to forget about the crucial importance of patience and waiting.

after constantly snatch at any opportunity that strays past i’ve develop a habit to not think about the opportunity, and where it may lead. rather to disregard the opportunity as nonexistent and my own selfish gain becomes the direction of thought. something my self-awareness can help to fix. being vigilant of my control, and rigorous of my actions in order to maximised productivity and secure stability.

With the lights on and the laptop on my chest, I begin to fall asleep. After I turn off the light and actually try to rest my eyes open like it’s morning. With the light on my eyes become weak.

Falling asleep downstairs for a few hours hasn’t helped my situation, it could be why I’m in this situation. My brain feels like solidifying liquid, like my skull is full of brain juice and slowly it is hardening into a brain. Writing this is also proving to be a test. My hands are heavy and difficult to lift, while my fingers feel light and hollow.

Stumbling around the same words in my head I realize I am far too awake to sleep, but way too sleepy to get up.
