Understanding Hatred in the Light of Scripture
Brent Pollard
The Quotable and the True
There is a saying, widely admired and frequently borrowed, that the opposite of love is not hatred but indifference. It comes from the pen — or rather, the anguished memory — of Elie Wiesel, a man forged in the unspeakable furnace of the Holocaust. One understands why a survivor of such silence would reach…
Jesus called on his disciples to serve one another, and in John 13 he gave a practical example of what such service looked like. The cleansing which he offered his disciples on that night foreshadowed the more complete cleansing that would be offered through the cross. As his disciples, we must strive to walk as he walked.

That poor man was in a hole,
No doubt of his own making,
Because throughout his life,
Love for Jesus he was faking.
So proudly he walked about,
With a very self-righteous air,
While deep in his wicked heart,
He honestly did not even care.
Folks would see him coming,
Then praises could be heard,
He thot he was doing so swell,
Oh what an idea quite absurd.
Outwardly he seemed so fine,
Sure, he even talked the talk,
But when nobody was looking,
He just did not walk the walk.
Now here he stood before God,
A rather smug look on his face,
As Father then spoke saying,
Son, you’re in the wrong place.
Wait was tumblr down because they fucked up changing colored tags?
Some are broken it seems and a bunch have been added (also broken)

Some buildings have limited red lines, so they have to expand their spaces on the higher floors. (such as local protruding strctures)
Some buildings don’t fully use the given boundries, leaving large empty areas inside the boundries for designers to express their ideas.

Sketch out the boundaries of the bombing from war. This is a way of permanently turning the erased boundaries into the urban landscape.

Christians often experience an inner tension when considering their relationship with civil government. We belong to a heavenly kingdom whose values frequently stand in sharp contrast to the world around us, yet we remain citizens of earthly nations—subject to laws, rulers, and civic obligations that demand our attention and participation. Scripture does not ignore this tension.…

I’ve never been afraid of the highest heights
Or afraid of flying now
I’ve never been afraid of the wildest fights
Not afraid of dying
But now I want off this ride ‘cause you’re scaring me and I don’t like where we’re going
I need a new fun fair 'cause you’re scaring me and I don’t like where we’re going
And now you’re gonna miss me
I know you’re gonna miss me
I guarantee you’ll miss me 'cause you changed the way you kiss me
'Cause you changed the way you kiss me
We used to be so so soulful
Al Green on the background vocals
T total were on the next high
We get by with a so called soul mate made for each other chit chat
But that dried up, wise up to the cutting edge facts
Now I’m chilling on my Jack Jones
Looking for a way back home but I can’t get back
Our love feels wrong, please wind it back
Our love feels wrong, cant hide the cracks
I guarantee you’ll miss me 'cause you changed the way you kiss me
I’ve never been afraid of the highest heights
Or afraid of flying now
I’ve never been afraid of the wildest fights
Not afraid of dying
I need a new fun fair 'cause you’re scaring me and I don’t like where we’re going
I guarantee you’ll miss me 'cause you changed the way you kiss me
Our love feels wrong, please wind it back
Our love feels wrong, cant hide the cracks
I guarantee you’ll miss me 'cause you changed the way you kiss me
I guarantee you’ll miss me 'cause you changed the way you kiss me

Jeremiah was a man who faced many challenges and hardships. He was someone who was intimate with failure and let down— but God’s reminder to him is the same for us today. He was designed with a purpose before he was born.
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations” (Jer. 1.5).
All humans are…
