Baby Blood 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
*STORE ANIMAL THIS IS NOT THEIR PERMANENT SET UP*
Doin some socialization with Burgie- hes still def. uncomfortable but at least he’s actually exploring now instead of just being in a defensive pose 24/7!

Did a Burgie handling session today! Nobody got bit or died, which was a pleasant surprise for both of us, I think. Now I’m just sitting next to him with the door open while he stares at me for added desensitization :)
Big baby

Here’s another up-and-comer I have growing up, Pele. She’s a sibling to the last red girl I posted!

It took so long, but…SNUPGRADE COMPLETE!!! Moved both my bps into 5 x 2 x 2’s by Toad Ranch and my baby blood into one of their old tubs. Whether or not it’ll need some tweaking remains to be seen, and I do want to upgrade it more cosmetically, but for now, I’ll let the snakes do the testing for me. Toast is having a grand old time already, if anything needs adjusting he’ll be the one to find it
I may have made a mistake giving Craask deeper substrate, though- I’m glad he likes it, but he’s completely buried himself under it. Taming is going to be…interesting.
Reblog will have more snake pictures!

Moved this handsome boy into his upgraded enclosure today! He was such a gentleman, first time handling him since I brought him home and we spent some time learning each other. I think he will like his new digs!
He’s nine-and-a-half!
We brought him home in June 2015, he was so smol, he fit into a (largish) deli cup!
He came from the Berkeley Serpentarium, and rode home with us in the car, on J’s lap. He got very scared!

This is my first photo of him, just before I put him in his quarantine tub. He looks very Concerned ™.
Here’s another photo of him a couple of weeks later, with my hand for scale:

He’s grown so much since then, but he’s still an absolute treasure of a noodle!

He’s an awesome pair-coding partner! I’m usually the one typing, and he carefully reviews every line!

Pele in a sunbeam! She’s going to be a knockout. She’s insanely clean and 2yo now.

Red Vinegar still blows me away with her color. Only 2 years old and looking unreal!
Python brongersmai
The moniker “Blood Python” draws its inspiration from the literary works of Robert E. Howard and the captivating solo endeavor of the ingenious M. Horn. Intrigued by this Norwegian artist’s remarkable solo project, we embarked on a journey to delve deeper into its essence and uncover its mysteries.
TheNwothm: Hey there! Can you start by telling us the name of the project, who you are are where…

Lestat the Blood Python (Python brongersmai) sporting the spectacle from the abysmal shed he had last month (sorry buddy)
Oberon the Lavender Albino Superdwarf Reticulated Python (Malayopython reticulatus ssp.) - second picture is when he noticed the camera (he’s blind in his left eye)
Rasputin the Russian Rat Snake (Elaphe schrenckii), also (somewhat) freshly out of brumation. He woke up early because under my bed isn’t cold enough. He’s finally starting to get his yellow in too!

blessed with a Hector this morning! usually its too dark to get a good pic when hes out bumming around
