Okay, so,

I don’t know how much of this I want to share, but i need it off my chest bc it’s the main thing people talk about in my country.

For context, my city of Sarajevo (BiH) is the only city that has a tram network running for fourty odd years. In that time we had the chance to have new and modern trams with alarms, more seats, station announcer etc. but for some goddamn reason, they didn’t stop using these old, rusty ass trains from before the goddamn aggression on Bosnia.

So Friday last week (I was on a mandatory checkup on the other side of town), one of the old trams sped up and couldn’t stop. The tram jumped out on the curve and sled across the damn pavement right infront of the station. It did not fall over but it has claimed the life of one young man and cost a girl her leg.

The driver was arrested, but it wasn’t his fault he was driving an ancient ass fucking machine that barely worked. He was freed, but that poor guy is going to have life long trauma because two lives were affected because of the tram he was driving. As for the young man, he will very likely have a memorial in order. And the girl had just woken up in the hospital and these cock suckers had the audacity to use an ai generated image for a girl that was nearly killed a few days ago to notify us she’s alive.
