Today’s mice are in the other three prototype(kinda) dresses! The one Babs is wearing was going to be a cinderella’s mice dress, but, well, hiding the ends for the sleeves didn’t go so hot, so it didn’t turn out. Oh well. Cass’ dress is the first iteration of that top with the big ruffly skirt. As you may note, its rather short. And not very ruffly. It has been improved in future versions. Stephie’s dress isn’t technically a prototype, it’s just a little thing I made up cuz I had some yarn left over from something else and didn’t know what else to do with it.

Carlo bought last minute tickets for this theater play and I am so glad he did because my goodness…
This is the 4th play that I’ve seen and honestly, compared sa iba (I saw One More Chance: The Musical, Mula Sa Buwan, Liwanag sa Dilim: The Musical) parang college play yung set-up nung stage, and I don’t mean this in a derogatory way kasi it felt more immersive for some reason?
I’m not a theater kid so I don’t really have much comments on the technical parts of it.. all I know is ang daming beses kong umiyak.
What I loved about this play was the story. Usually kasi, we hear regrets galing sa mga naiwan, but Tulog Na did it the other way around. Yung regrets ay nanggaling mismo sa mga namatay. I loved (and cried so much during) their monologues, especially yung kay kuya Grab driver kasi tatay siya..
When he said something along the lines of “pasensiya na mga anak, hindi na makakauwi si Tatay. ‘Wag niyong kakalimutang i-lock ang mga pinto, yung kalan baka maiwan niyong nakabukas..”
I related to it so much because Dad passed 7 months ago so you could say that wound’s still really fresh and to hear that? Phew. Tears were flowing because Dad used to give me such reminders as well…
So yeah, this play instantly had a special place in my heart just because of that. Super solid experience for me.

Carlo’s Starbucks go-to order is Barista Drink, and I’ve always found it too strong but today, yun yung inorder ko. He was surprised kasi he knew na natatapangan ako, but it was before I got a moka pot and tasted real coffee.
Totoo nga yung sabi nila na once you go black, you can never go back lol. I also got the chance to taste different kinds of beans and kaya ko nang, finally, uminom ng Americano/Long Black!
Ngayon, even the “matapang na kape” is matamis na for me haha! I just need to adjust the white mocha pumps, I guess?

Today’s mice are wearing more ruffly skirts! I went through my bucket of dresses and picked out all the ones that haven’t been seen before, so expect a lot of new dresses in the next week or two!

We need to kill the joker he deserves it. I love batjokes but even i cant defend this.

Middle one is talking about what he’d do to his wife to stop her from cheating. Like i know hes a psychopath, but in most comics hes just like trying to blow up a bank or poison the water supply, not like torture people any more than his gas. Mind you this is going on right after hes left Harley to fight agaisnt batman in the chemical plant where Joker was “created”. Like YOU are the cheater dude, even if this isnt an actual relationship Harley wouldn’t enjoy you doing this. Babs does in no way deserve this, and he doesnt even know that shes the girl he had paralysed. Hes just doing this to get at Batman, which is the worst part (minus seeing batgirl hurt and worried about her mother, who the finger with a ring on it is from). Like if youre going to go this far for a person, you may as well be their arch enemy or doing this to get at them, but theyve just decided to make this happen to a female character whos already been sexually assulted by the joker, and then #16 ends with her tied up and she doesnt even get to beat him up properly and i have to go read batman now. What the fuck.
