Arezu nation do we um. still exist.
A pair of figure studies that I only managed to get done bc I’m so Character-Brained that, like a dog taking its medicine in a spoonful of peanut butter, I allowed myself to make them Arezu after I was done.
But also! I like to imagine she has some basic ballet skills, after years of taking care of Lady Lilligant.
So, take these as payment for my previous Arezu pieces being a bit poor, it’s the least I can do for her ❤️just don’t look at the hands im begging you my brain was fried after drawing just one of them

Arezu x carefree male s/o
Despite being from the Diamond Clan himself, s/o has never been particularly close to any of his fellow clanmates with one exception, that being his childhood friend Arezu, whom he has always got along with extremely well due to the two having similar personalities.
While s/o spends most of his time traveling all around Hisui without a care in the world on the back of his giant Torterra, he frequently stops by the Crimson Mirelands to be around Arezu.
“Hey Arezu. Did ya miss me?”
S/o asks his red haired friend with a grin on his face while laying against the tree growing on Torterra’s shell.
“Yep. I always love when you and Torterra pay me a visit s/o.”
With a smile on her face, Arezu gently climbs on top of Torterra and plops down right next to s/o, both of them enjoying each other’s company.
As carefree as s/o is, and as much as he likes spending time with Arezu, he makes sure to never get in the way of her duties as a warden.
“You go do what you need to do Arezu, we can always hang out tomorrow.”
“Are you sure? Because I-”
“It’s fine Arezu, really. Being a warden is a huge honor, and I completely understand the responsibilities that come with it. Besides, Adaman would give me the scolding of a lifetime if I got in the way of that. There’s always tomorrow, because Torterra and I ain’t going anywhere.”
S/o tells her, causing her to smile.
“Ok, but I’m holding you to that s/o. You’re a good friend.”
“The feeling’s mutual Arezu.”
Unbeknownst to either of them, the two Diamond Clan members have been secretly harboring feelings for each other, but neither have chosen to act on them.
“We’ve been friends since like….forever Torterra, and I’m terrified that I’d ruin that if I told Arezu how I feel about her.
He says to his partner pokémon later that evening, who lets out a grunt while eating a bundle of berries.
“Man, why does stuff like this have to be so complicated? Be honest Torterra, should I just take a risk and confess already?”
The grass/ground type looks up at his human companion and nods.
“Yeah, you’re right bud. I should go for it. When we see Arezu tomorrow, I’m gonna tell her I love her!”
The next day, he and Torterra make their way to the nearby Diamond Clan settlement to meet Arezu, who smiles widely upon seeing them.
“Wow, you wasted no time getting here huh s/o?”
“Nope, because I have something important to tell you. Arezu, I like you, as in more than just a friend.”
Arezu is at first surprised to hear this, but then proceeds to glomp s/o into a tight embrace.
“I had no idea! S/o, I feel the same way!”
“Really?! Awesome!”
And thus….s/o and Arezu are now a couple.
Now that they’re dating, the two’s relationship isn’t all that different except for them being much more affectionate with each other now.
“I have the most amazing boyfriend.”
“Aww, thanks babe. I happen to have an even more amazing girlfriend.”
“Hehe, darn right you do.”
They smile lovingly at each other while cuddling together as Torterra lies down close by, happy that his two favorite people are finally in a relationship.
S/o has stopped traveling as much as he used to so he can be closer to his girlfriend, much to her worry.
“Babe, you loved to travel. I would hate being the reason why you aren’t anymore.”
“Don’t worry about that Arezu. Why would I wanna travel when I could be here with you? Plus, I’m sure Torterra appreciated taking a break from moving around so much.”
Traveling for s/o hasn’t ceased completely however, as he enjoys taking Arezu to the most beautiful locations Hisui has to offer whenever they go on dates.
“Woah. I’ve never been here s/o. This place is incredible!”
“Heh, I figured you’d like it.”
Jealousy for Arezu and s/o is pretty much nonexistent, both because of how close they were before dating, and due to s/o’s carefree nature.
“Honestly, I never even thought of being in a relationship with anyone other than you Arezu. No one else has ever really interested me.”
“Glad to know I was always on your mind babe.”
She tells him in a teasing tone as he chuckles.
“Yep. Always have been, and always will be.”
Once Arezu sets up her haircut business in Jubilife village, s/o is her first customer.
“Alright s/o, is there anything particular you want me to do?”
“Nah, just so long as it looks good then anything is fine.”
Unfortunately, Arezu makes a mistake and accidentally gives her boyfriend a bald spot.
“P-please don’t be mad babe. I’m really sorry?”
Feeling the top of his head, s/o simply shrugs.
“Eh, it’ll grow back. I’ll just have to wear a hat for a while.”
“How can you be so nonchalant about this?”
“I dunno, it’s just how I am about pretty much every I guess. So, what do I owe ya?”
Immediately, Arezu shakes her head with a look of guilt present on her face.
“Nothing. I messed up, so I’m not charging you babe.”
Overtime, s/o has become closer to the rest of the Diamond Clan thanks to Arezu, even becoming friends with Lilligant, the noble pokémon his girlfriend looks after as per her duty as warden.
“I’m glad you get along so well with Lilligant and the others now s/o.”
“So am I, especially because your parents gave me their blessing.”
He says while laying down on the grass in the Obsidian Fieldlands as his girlfriend looks at him curiously.
“B-blessing? For what?”
She asks with a small blush, having a feeling that she already knows the answer.
“To marry you. Well, whenever the day comes of course. I’m in no rush.”
He says simply with his arms behind his head, causing Arezu to let out a sigh of relief.
“Oh good, because I’m not quite ready for marriage yet. Just know that you’re definitely the man I want by my side forever when I am ready. I love you so much s/o.”
“Good to know. I love you too Arezu.”
Watching the sun set with her boyfriend and his Torterra, Arezu smiles as she snuggles up next to the carefree guy she loves so much.,

Azeru is being a bit of a naughty girl, wearing her diapers in public with so little to cover them. She’s hoping a caregiver will notice and step in. Maybe someone wearing purple: it’s her favourite color after all…
Drew this one “outta the loose wrist” as they say. Got it done pretty quickly and it’s nice just not worrying about getting all the anatomy and official design exactly right every once in a while. I think with the next few i’ll go back to a more limited color palette again.

[[MORE]]Got inspired to draw Arezu after reading through Wandering Pidgeon’s latest Pokegal Drabbles, wondering who the hell Arezu is (she’s Mars ancestor, because humans reproduce through parthenogenesis) and subsequently falling in love with her design. Like she definitely looks like she’s up to Something, no clue what though. Also the shading on her thigh makes it look like she’s wearing a pull-up underneath.

Sorry if the quality is not the best because I took this photo on my phone, but I decided to interact with my Sylveon, Castila near Arezu. I have short videos of my cute Sylveon being all jumpy and happy around Arezu, as if she’s saying hi and hoping she has a fun day, sometimes being a curious little creature, wondering what she’s up to and how was her life. And I actually want to do this more often. After all, I don’t always want to do battling in any Pokemon game in general, sometimes I just want to spend portions of time of my playthroughs with my Pokemon instead, especially with my favourite members of the team.
I love my Sylveon and I love spending my time with her and the rest of my Pokemon team. And I love Arezu, she’s a fun character and she’s pretty.
P.S. My hair is short in real life, so I did get myself a haircut during the playthrough. Unlike most of my Trollsonas who have longer hair. Stuck with black hair though since they have no chocolate brown and dark brown hair options.
P.S. 2. Yes, my Sylveon is a female, and in Pokemon Legends Arceus, I got her from a time-space distortion in the Obsidian Fieldlands and I love her so much, as opposed to getting her as an Eevee and then evolving her into a Sylveon with enough friendship and learning a Fairy-Type move in the other games I had Castila and used her in, regardless though, I love her so much. I have even sent her out with my Hisuian Samurott Ronami and Hisuian Lilligant Sakura.

i wanna blurt out something
Being a warden is a very, very big responsibility. It’s not for the faint of heart, nor for the neglectful. Arezu tries her hardest to be neither of those.
She tends to her lady as best as she’s able, as best as she can. She refuses to disappoint her clan, or her leader.
And then there’s Mai. Mai, who seems like nothing can phase her, and Mai, who she has never seen lose her calm. Arezu doesn’t get it.
