What I ordered vs. what I got. Serves me right for using Amazon, I guess. Now I jump through all the hoops to return items I didn’t order and reorder the items I wanted but didn’t get. Repotted my little turtle plant today. I didn’t do it before because I was told it’s a resilient plant and probably didn’t need help. 🌱 Apparently even the best of us resilient folks need help. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Disappointing that @amazon driver knocked it over and the plant is mostly dead but. Maybe there’s still hope for her. I wasn’t even going to mention that the driver did it because I was just going to post about how sometimes you gotta start over from the crappy mess someone left you in but then I realized we gotta call out the people leaving their crappy messes sometimes. No Amazon didn’t apologize when I told them. And sometimes we don’t get apologies. So we learn when it’s time to move on and grow differently. Hopefully my little turtles (which were a gift for graduation and in memory of a best friend passing) will grow back and be just as full as before or better. So. There’s that. Happy Saturday.

First encounter with Amazon, never needed them before but I got a gift card as present, so… I decide to look for DIr En Grey.

Pitfall of being Dutch is they use a translation engine because they’re too cheap to hire a translator for millions of items. Understandable. And not understandable at the same time.

Great job Amazon. My kid needed this for school and I’m having a hard enough time trying to find one. Technically it’s the second hand cellar that screwed this one up. The box was a bit big and there was zero packing material. I guess I should not be surprised that it got damaged.

I can finally start this damn model! Three weeks I’ve been waiting for Amazon to deliver the glue. Finally gave up, and went for a walk to Jan’s Hobby Shop on 93rd and Lexington. I’m so disappointed and angry with @Amazon and @usps.official placed orders totaling over $160 and was provided a “guaranteed” delivery date of 2/29. Items that were set to be delivered via Amazon made it here fine. The two large items were sent via @usps.official. Those two items weren’t delivered and is listed on the tracking page as “delivery attempted but no access to address”. Um, the weekend mail person didn’t even deliver regular mail in our neighborhood. Now, normally this would just be an inconvenience, however one of the items was specialty puppy food for my Mastiff which I can’t buy locally. When I saw the update from @usps.official and knew that was false as they had access, it was already past business hours. I called @amazon as this is the THIRD time my dog food was delayed because it’s 40 pounds. (Last time this happened and I called, I was assured they would get feedback to the correct dept so that it wouldn’t happen again. Yet, here we are). So, @amazon is the company I paid, not only for the products, but also for their promise to deliver on the guaranteed date THEY provided. They contracted with @usps.official not me. Had it been a choice I could have made, I would have opted for amazon delivery or @ups. When this happened last time, they refunded me the purchase price of the items that they failed to deliver on their guaranteed date, and assured me this wouldn’t happen again, which is why I was willing to give them my business on the dog food purchase again. When I called@Amazon this time, they offered an apology and $10 and told me my items would be delivered no later than March 10th. How insulting!! So at 9pm I had to drive the distance to go to a store and buy a lesser dog food to the tune of $15 that my dog is not used to eating and now has an upset stomach all because @Amazon failed on its promises.
