19 साल के भारतीय मूल युवक ने विदेश में लहराया परचम, शुरू किया अपना ऑनलाइन बिज़नेस

आवास की जरुरत और उसको सजा धजाकर तैयार करने की पद्धति बहुत ही पुरानी है, मानों जैसे भारतीयों की आत्मा में रच बस गई हो। कही भी जाकर बसने वाले जिनका जन्म भारत से हुआ हो, वो भी इससे अछूते नहीं रहे हैं। एक ऐसे ही शख्सियत हैं भारतीय मूल के अक्षय रूपारेलिया, जिन्होंने छोटी सी आयु विदेश में बनाई अपनी एक अलग पहचान।

भारतीय मूल के अक्षय रूपारेलिया ने ब्रिटेन में सबसे कम उम्र के करोड़पति बनने का मुकाम हासिल कर लिया है। अक्षय एक ऑनलाइन रियल एस्टेट की कंपनी चलाते हैं। उनकी Doorstep.co.uk कंपनी ब्रिटेन की बड़ी कंपनियों में शुमार है,अक्षय ने अपनी पढ़ाई करने के साथ ही 16 महीने के अंदर ही अपनी कंपनी को 18 सबसे बड़ी ऑनलाइन कंपनियों में शामिल कर दिखाया। इस बिज़नेस के जरिए अक्षय सस्ते दामों पर लोगों को जमीन दिलाने का काम करते हैं। जिस उम्र में बच्चे फुटबॉल और क्रिकेट खेलने में मस्त रहते हैं, उसी उम्र में अक्षय ने अपनी पढ़ाई के साथ - साथ खुद की कंपनी शुरू कर दी।

अक्षय के पिता एक केयर वर्कर हैं और उनकी माँ लंदन के ही बधिर बच्चों के स्कूल में सहायक शिक्षिका है। एक इंटरव्यू के दौरान अक्षय ने बताया था कि जब वो पहली बार प्रॉपर्टी देखने के लिए जा रहे थे, तब उनके पास गाड़ी या बाइक चलाने का लाइसेंस नहीं था। इसलिए उन्होंने अपनी बहन के दोस्त के साथ उसकी गाड़ी में गए थे। जिसके बदले में उन्होंने लगभग 3,444 रुपए दिए थे। अक्षय ने अपने रिश्तेदारों से सात हजार पाउंड उधार लेकर अपनी कंपनी शुरू की थी। स्कूल में पढ़ाई करने के दौरान अक्षय को काम करने में दिक्कत आती थी, इसलिए उन्होंने ग्राहकों के फोन का जवाब देने का जिम्मा उन्होंने एक कॉल सेंटर को दे रखा था। लेकिन स्कूल से फ्री होने के बाद वह खुद ही लोगों के फ़ोन कॉल का जवाब देते थे। अक्षय को ऑक्सफोर्ड यूनिवर्सिटी से इकोनॉमिक्स और मैथमैटिक्स की पढ़ाई का ऑफर भी मिला था, लेकिन उन्होंने अपने बिज़नेस को आगे बढ़ाने का फैसला किया था। अक्षय के माता पिता सुनने में असमर्थ है।

अक्षय की कंपनी प्रॉपर्टी बेचने के लिए ब्रिटेन भर में कामकाजी महिलाओं की मदद लेती है, क्योंकि अक्षय का मानना है कि महिलाए ज्यादा भरोसेमंद होती हैं।

बहरहाल, हम तो यही कहेंगे कि अक्षय ने यह साबित कर दिया कि अगर हमारे अंदर कुछ करने का जज़्बा हो तो कोई भी काम नामुमकिन नहीं होता।

Once there was a young girl
who was scared of silly things.
