🎯 Reiki & Zen Archery: The Power of Presence in Motion
In the tradition of Kyūdō (Zen archery), the bow is not just a weapon. It’s a mirror of the mind. The goal is not to hit the target—but to reach a state of perfect inner stillness.
The same is true for Reiki.
We don’t “aim” the energy.
We don’t try to “hit” healing.
We become the vessel. The still center.
And from that presence… everything aligns.
🏹 Zen Archery teaches:
No striving.
No attachment to outcome.
Only presence. Only breath.
Reiki teaches the same.
When the archer is fully present, the arrow flies true.
When the healer is fully present, the energy flows pure.
In both practices, you don’t do — you allow.
🌬️ Try This: “The Breath-Bow Reiki Practice”
1. Sit or stand in Gasshō (palms together at heart).
2. Imagine holding a bow, your breath drawing the string.
3. On the exhale, release — not to shoot, but to let go.
4. Place your hands for Reiki. Let the energy flow without aim.
5. Trust the flow more than the form.
There’s no target.
Only the moment.
And the moment… is sacred.
