Writing tip: If a paragraph is quiet, gentle, and suspiciously obedient, it is lying to you. Stop writing. Back away slowly! Prepare for hidden trauma!

That peaceful sentence? Never peaceful. It’s a tripwire. Your story is already plotting a full-scale rebellion somewhere just out of view. Those supporting characters you thought were politely waiting their turn? They’re forming a chaotic, plot-destroying cabal.

I set out to write an atmospheric, cosy Christmas story. Something festive. Something soft. The result? Pure, unfiltered chaos!

If you need me, I’ll be in the editing trenches, negotiating peace with a sentient gingerbread man and a butler with criminally perfect posture who is somehow orchestrating narrative mayhem.Send help! And maybe extra coffee.

A First for Everything

So, I graduated like… wait, let me count on my fingers… three months ago? And honestly, I feel so unbelievably free, it’s kinda terrifying. I’ve had way too much time to just sit, stare at my story folders, and, well… exist. But guess what? I’m kinda back. Out of nowhere, I got this crazy burst of motivation to actually do something. Shocking, right?

For the past few weeks, I’ve been writing, sending out job apps, and even learning how to drive (which, by the way, is way less stressful than deciding if my main character should die in the end). But now? Now I’m taking things seriously. I’m pushing my writing further, focusing on myself, and ignoring anyone who tries to tell me otherwise.

My blank notebook. It’s blank because I actually don’t really use it. 😂 I type most of my work, and I only take small notes here and there occasionally on paper.
