I do like this idea, and I can see it being a spin off show. More so for the Og show or roar, than 2011, as in that show it’s a bit of a stretch.
I also think it’d be nice if they had a mutant on the team. Show that they aren’t, well, racist 😅
But with this idea you could even do something like battle of bands (again similar to Jem!) Where other bands exist! Maybe they would all be fighting in a school hosted talent show. Like they’re going up against other schools.
The votes are in or rather the vote is in since we got only one and we are off to Page 70 for “The ThunderCats and the Ghost Warrior.”
With this amount of pages, I thought we would have been reaching the end. I guess not.
Two weeks later and we are back with this. People chose to turn to 80 for “The ThunderCats and the Ghost Warrior.”
So, was Kit just left floating? I’ve not seen the episode this is based on.
I didn’t make a mistake! This image is SUPPOSED to be upside down! Wilykat and Wilykit are using suction cups to try to trick Lion-O in the third Anointment Trial.
Okay genuinely one of the hardest questions I’ve ever been asked.
Because I dont really hate any episode as a whole, its just some moments that make me go… really?
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, any scene with the love triangle makes me skip ahead. But even one of my favourite episodes, song of the petelars, It has the ending being Lion-O completely missing the point of the moral and I hate that!
BUT! If I had to choose an entire *episode* to redo, it would be survival of the fittest. Its nice to have another Wilytwins centric episode, but I really feel it missed out on having them interact with the other characters.
It set up the perfect premise for them to bond with Cheetara and Panthro and just…. let the two adults leave the kids to their devices? Let Panthro be a father figure to Kat and him suddenly breaking down when Panthro pats his shoulder cause he misses when his dad used to do that! And Panthro being a surprisingly good comforter, let him reminisce about his days before the war, when his parents would comfort him and taught him to be brave!
Have Cheetara notice Kit looking longingly in the distance as she plays her song and ask whats wrong! Then let Cheetara console her by talking about her own pass, how she lost her clan when she was a young cub JUST LIKE HER!!!
I so desperately wanted the episode to end with the kits having helped the bird-deer things against Chee and Panthros instructions, and then have all four of them look upon their small herd and reminisce how nice it is to have found a family!!!!
Like SERIOUSLY IT WAS RIGHT THERE!
Oh geez… turns out I had more to say about this than I though XD.
They did actually tell Lion-O about El Dara when they first met in Ramlak Rising! But he wasn’t really himself at that moment, so he brushed them off. But I agree, he’d take a “sure, why not” stance on its existence. Tygra is the eternal skeptic, but I think the others wouldn’t see a reason not to think it’s possible.
I’m pretty sure the twins talked about El Dara when the others were around at least once or twice. They weren’t secretive about it.
I’m still not sure what I would want the payoff of El Dara to be, but I think I want it to be something plot important. So that this thing that’s been in the background and not even clear if it’s meant to be taken seriously would turn out to be essential all along.
On one hand, I have respect for Cheetaras flirty characteristics coming through her outfit. Like it does almost look like she specifically unbuttoned her top for the vibes, which I respect.
Now as a whole 2011 Thundercats sucked *ass* at Costume continuity. Why are some people dressed from ancient Rome while others are medieval Europe??? Why would Cheetara, a CLERIC, have a uniform that looks like that????
Also, yes I understand her anklets and bracelets are weights, but they’re dumb. So bulky, no agility whatsoever. Hate them.

I’ll be honest, I hadn’t thought of much for Panthro yet. But I like the idea of him needing to find a new goal in life. I did think of one scene of him giving Pumyra advice, since like her he suffered an excruciating betrayal that nearly cost him his life, but that’s one scene not much of an arc.
For the twins, I want to do something to tie up the El Dara thread, but that will require me to decide what I want El Dara to be ^^; And yeah, I did want to show the twins slowly becoming less of a joint unit and finding separate passions, Wilykit in magic and spirituality and Wilykat in combat.
I love your idea of tying Kit into Cheetara’s arc, that’s a really nice way of getting two characters’ development out of the same plotline! And there’s definite potential in Kat learning different skills from each of his two big brothers!

And I think there’s definitely room to try to explore some kind of theme about magic and technology, maybe try to succeed where episode 24 failed >.>
