私の音楽のデータ、結構溜まってきた。
無駄に外部メディア使うのは解せない。
今回、初めて、Commandの“tar”を、《圧縮する》方に使ってみた。
「Andromeda Cowboy 🤠「」 by Bailong
この名義で、一つの音楽アルバムを作りました。

🎸2nd Album アセンションⅡ 完成 – Velvet Architect Organization
↑↑↑クリックで、視聴↑↑↑
Bailong名義最初に、「xoxo」というアルバムを、初めて作ったのですが、基本データは、Logic Pro Xでやりました。
膨大なデータは、Mac OSXでした。
しかし、Macはジョブズが死んだ後、64bit用OSにアップデートしたとたん、外部のDVDが、使えなくなりました…🤣、わけわからんっすw😭🤣
で、一念発起、システム自体、Gentoo Linuxに変更し、外部DVDを使えるように、改造出来ました。
そんなGentoo Linuxで、ArdourというオープンソースのDAWに移行。
それに当たり、それまでのMac OSXで、Logic Pro Xの大量のオーディオデータを、Ardourに移動。
実に4GBものWAVファイル、移動し、2枚目のアルバムは完成↑。
4GBは、でかい…
そしてアルバムは完成したから、もはやデータは直ぐに必要なし。
…そっか、じゃ、初めて“圧縮”ってやつ、やってみようとw🙂
今までコンピューター扱い、zipなりtarは、解凍は沢山やったw
でも、圧縮って初めて。
# tar cvzf DATA.tar.gz music_data
つまり、解凍は、
tar xvzf DATA.tar.gz
↑compressと、extract、って訳よね。
結果、
約2GBくらいに出来た！✨✨✨
、まあ、やはり凄いな、tarは。
アーカイブって概念、私達って、解凍ばかりしてるわけですが、初めて圧縮出来たのは、感無量。。
これだけWAVも小さく出来るなら、映像系で作り終えた動画も、圧縮しようって発想に至れました🙂✨👍
結局、アーカイブして圧縮しないと、データってかさばるだけ。かさばれば、頭の整理出来なくなり、作業は混乱し、止まってしまう。
tarにしてもzipにしても、「作る側」には、大変便利なツールだと、知りましたねえ。。
ふと、なぜか“6次元の世界”を、思いました。
つまりは、“アカシックレコード”。
アセンションで、5次元に私達は行くが、アーカイブ圧縮されてんのが、6次元..
作り出す、7次元、無限の8次元、神の9次元。
神の無限のクリエーションを、整理圧縮したアカシックレコード。
図書館みたいに、ジャンル分けされてて、収納される。
私みたい、音楽作る人も、またプログラム作る人らも、あるプロジェクト作り、完成したら、アーカイブ圧縮しないと、作る上で整理がつかない。
初めて、“圧縮”を体験しました🙂✨👍
