Got the mount and had to make my favorite wizard boy.

Ig this is sorta my sneak peek of what I’m working on for my bday art bc my art is now at the lineart phase and it’s sorta ugly.

Also bc I thought this original sketch was particularly charming and it sadly got heavily revamped for the final piece :-(

He was never my dog and even though the ex wife left him with me despite always claiming him as hers.

I’ve still kept him for the sake of the kids. And he’s been a part of this family for 12 years. Even if I’m the only human left in this house.

I’m trying to figure out how I feel.

It’ll be one less creature in my house.

I’m worried how Taako will handle it. He grew up with Gimli and now it’ll just be him alone a lot. Since with the new job I’m not home a lot.

Idk. I’m numb.

I’m finally listening to the old TAZ bonus content. In the 2015 live show, after Taako does a completely overkill fireball spell on this turtle, it’s said that he kills the turtle so hard that: the turtles parents forget about him, the turtles brother dies, and the successful books the turtle wrote have the words vanish from them.

There’s some metaphor in here, surely. Voidfish everywhere for those with eyes to see.

In the first panel, Taako stands holding two champagne glasses. He smiles and looks down as he says “Happy new cy-”

In the second panel, he is rudely interrupted by Magnus and Merle, the former holding a little flag and a noisemaker and the latter with a sparkler. Merle winks as he shouts, very colorfully, “HAPPY NEW CYCLE, SLUTS!”
