Has the lightsaber short circuiting abilities of Cortosis with the durability of Beskar.

Is My Lightsaber Design Out Of Place, Or Gary Stu-ish?
@swtorpadawan I’ve used a combination of Star Wars lore and my understanding of real life sword fighting to design a custom lightsaber for Lord Fenrir, my SWTOR Sith Warrior. But I’m worried that what I’ve come up with is A: out of place in the Star Wars Galaxy, and/or B: an overdesigned weapon for a Gary Stu.
And I want some opinons on it. I also want to point out that I’m not actually trained in sword combat, everything I know comes from reading books and watching videos about the subject.
I don’t have any art of my lightsaber design, so I’m going to do my best to describe it.
[[MORE]]The handle of the lightsaber is made from handcarved wood, strengthend by channeling The Force into it and coated in varnish for aesthectics and preservation. It’s also made with a slight curve like Count Dooku’s lightsaber, to aid in lightsaber combat.
The pommel is a skull cracker/glass breaker that can be removed and swapped out without dissasembling the whole thing, and used to hide small items like credits.
Instead of a standard power switch, the lightsaber is turned on by simply gripping it which activates a pressure switch. This is because Lord Fenrir doesn’t believe in throwing lightsabers, because if you miss or your opponent deflects the attack, you’ve just lost your main weapon. The grip switch also ensures that he’s holding it tight enough.
Towards the emmiter is a turnable switch that adjusts the blade length, so it can be made longer for better reach, or shorter for encounters in more confined spaces.
Lastly, the lightsaber has a crossguard made from lightsaber proof metal - either beskar or something forged with Sith alchemy, I haven’t decided - both to protect Lord Fenrir’s hand from attack, and to use methods that catch and control the opponent’s blade.
So does this sound like a weapon that wouldn’t fit in Star Wars? Does it seem like the weapon of a Gary Stu? Both? Or am I worrying over nothing? Let me know.
