2. In the same pan, add the onions, garlic and ginger. Stir-fry until soft and lightly caramelised, then add both the white and red miso pastes and cook out for 1 minute
3. Add the soy, mirin, vinegar and beef stock. Add the beef back in and bring everything to a gentle simmer.
4. Transfer to the oven and cook for 2.5-3 hours – the meat should be fall-apart tender. Skim off as much fat from the top of the liquid as you can, then put the casserole over a high heat and cook until the liquid thickens slightly.
5. Divide the noodles among bowls, then spoon a generous amount of the brothy beef on top. Garnish with sesame seeds and spring onions

Chicken egg roll, fried rice, and sesame chicken for dinner. Got this from Safeway. I don’t get it very often, but my parent and I saw them and decided to each get our own. (She got the General Tso’s.) Kind of ate together this way. I had all of the egg roll, just a few pieces of chicken, and about half of the rice. The chicken’s always so sweet. I can’t have more than a little bit. I like the rice. The egg roll filled me up before I got to the other stuff. It was pretty good.

Adding sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, and fresh herbs to this grilled sesame herb chicken makes it taste great. It’s great for a quick and tasty dinner during the week or a barbecue on the weekend.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 2 tablespoons sesame oil. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 1 tablespoon honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated. 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro, chopped. 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Add honey, garlic, ginger, cilantro, parsley, salt, and pepper to a bowl. Then add the sesame oil and mix them all together. Put the chicken breasts in the bowl and make sure they are covered in the marinade all the way through. Put it in the fridge for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours with the lid on. Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Take the chicken out of the marinade and throw away the extra marinade. Cook the chicken on the grill for 6 to 8 minutes on each side, or until it’s done and the juices run clear. Leave to rest for 5 minutes after taking off the grill.
