February 10- Japanese Activists make a stand-in Taiji

It was an honour for us to meet these brave Japanese activists who demonstrated outside the Taiji Whale Museum on Saturday and who witnessed the traumatic capture of 16 pantropical spotted dolphins yesterday. Their passion could be felt in the shouting they made from Taiji beach pleading with the hunters to stop and in their tears after it was over. We respect you.

Hello friends 💙 today i want to share with you a magical moment in the ocean. That day we had dozens of bottlenose dolphins jumping around and it was amazing.
Did you know that they can reach speeds over 30km an hour and dive as deep as 250m below the surface ? How cool is that?

Heute fand in Hvalvik erneut ein Grind statt. Es wurden viele Atlantische Weißseitendelfine und Grindwale getötet.

Freiwillige von Sea Shepherd UK waren vor Ort, um das Ganze zu dokumentieren. Leider sind die Walfänger durch die dortige Gesetzeslage geschützt, daher ist es nicht möglich einzugreifen.

Today a grind took place in Hvalvik again. Many Atlantic white-tailed dolphins and pilot whales have been killed.

Sea Shepherd UK volunteers were there to document the whole thing. Unfortunately, the whalers are protected by the local laws, so it is not possible to intervene.
