Wow. Hockey and learning about rocks. What a life.
oh yeah I have this nesquik container full of fish rocks I bought for slime that failed (ignore my messy desk I’m cleaning currently)

Also brought today from an flea market this polished petrified wood slab.
I saw some tumbled , polished rocks of agate and Quarz there, but no corals or wood included.
So I brought then this amazing small gray sliced rock. Still may looking after an black, reddish brown colored slice, piece too.
rock. (I love how today is like a holiday. Almost like adding basalt to the wound. Or wounds.)
Holy shit guys I found one of my childhood treasures. My shell/rock/coral bin!!!!!
I was obsessed with them as a kid and literally any and every family friend that went on vacation anywhere smuggled them back for me because they knew. A lot are from my late grandmother’s collection.
I am so familiar with some of these it’s like seeing an old friend again after years especially the shells that formerly belonged to my hermit crabs.
Keeping it hidden under my bed because fuck putting it in storage it’s like a free antidepressant sorting through the bin I could do it all day and never get tired of it.
Eventually I would love a wall display or cabinet and I wanna label and sort the very cool distinctive ones like my own little museum.

Also there’s a tiny hand in there lmao

Rocks I took from the backyard this morning (shh don’t tell my mum)
Some for keeping as is some for painting. I think a lot of them came from up north?

The sodalite definitely did because Ontario is one of the few places you can find it (I’ve always absolutely loved sodalite I wish it wasn’t so hard to find) look how pretty it is even when it’s rough

And these reminded me of a dog when I set them down together

And here’s a rock I started painting probably years and years ago that ended up sitting unfinished outside.

i’d be a really good princess in a tower if i had a gun. or a rock sling. or rocks.
