A Reanimation Jesus

I am not a Jesus. You are not a Jesus. If there was only ever one Jesus then neither you or I are him. We are who we are in this present day; our surroundings, our interactions, our consumptions, food, water, air, chemicals. With this in mind. Christian church goes from place to place placating and altering what it can come into contact with because what it comes into contact with is not a Jesus. There is no Jesus to come into contact with. If what they wrote is what actually occurred. He died on a wooden cross two millennia ago. The church today publicly preach that they want everything to represent a historical Jesus and so conversion into a representation of what a Jesus is proclaimed to have stood for is necessary to make this so. I am not a Jesus. You are not a Jesus. This is absolute and fact. If there was only ever one Jesus then neither you or I are him. Unless of course your people secretly reanimate the dead. But I don’t see any half dead mindless hunger going on here.

It’s Friday the 13th. Again. This year we have two Fridays in two months in a row, this one being February and March.
Then let’s make a sequel to Dark Raiden…Zombie Liu Kang! But I made him a little more zombiefied, and removed the chain hooks, while mantaining his clothes from Deception and Armageddon, of course.
Speaking of Armageddon, I have been playing some MK Armageddon sometimes. Apparently there is also MK11 and 1 for the Switch, but no thanks. Armageddon is quite exciting, if it weren’t for the Fatalities that are hard to perform. Still, the stage Fatalities are pretty gory! (Mind you, I set up the blood option to the MAX.)

The speed was only a bit unnecessary. But, admittedly, the adrenaline rush after being so bored all night was like heroin in my veins. Stiles looked like he was going to throw up in the back as he partially tumbled into Scott while I navigated a particularly sharp turn. “Do you even know where you’re going?!” Stiles shouted.
It looked like we were heading into a more industrial side of town. Crossing train tracks and swerving on dirty roads. I shook my head once. “Nope! Got any tips?” I asked, mostly rhetorical. Kate’s box on wheels kept up surprisingly well with the sudden turns and high speeds. But, then again, she was driving like she genuinely believed it was Derek driving this car. I smelled the adrenaline from behind her steering wheel and it was the same as mine.
Sure, maybe it was a little perverse, but I enjoyed the idea of challenging her. Testing her. Putting her ego to the fire and getting to watch it burn up and melt felt almost as satisfying as a fresh quart. I heard her cell phone ring in my right ear and she answered it. “Here, take a left here!” Scott insisted, shoving his hand between the front seats to point. His voice blocked out the first few words of the call and I grumbled, but I hit the brakes to make the left turn.
“He’s on foot,” it was Chris Argent’s voice coming through Kate’s phone. “Just ran into the iron works.”
Kate responded quickly, confused. “Wait, wait. Did you say on foot?”
Fuck.

Adrian Robert Harris. An Army veteran. A Professor of chemistry teaching at Beacon Hills High School. Lives alone, no wife, no kids. From what I’d gathered, the bastard had a drinking problem—but he’d still tell you he’s three years sober. He liked sneaking barely legals into twenty-one-plus clubs on weekends. Thankfully for me, he also liked to stay late to grade papers, too, so there wasn’t really a wrong time to watch him after dark.
“This man is overwhelmingly pathetic,” I whispered.
The empty classroom across the hall wasn’t too far to hear from the parking lot if someone was intentionally listening. I scrolled Harris’s public facebook page on my laptop at the teacher’s desk with my chin on my fist. I was bored again. It didn’t make sense why Laura would be looking for this man. He was human, obnoxiously male, and had no ties to just about anything I could find with an internet connection. This genuinely felt like a waste of time. But, clearly there was something missing if he was on Laura’s list.
“Stay focused,” Derek’s disgruntled voice reached my ears, a little warm and kinda fuzzy like the static on an old tv. “He knows something.”
I lifted a brow. “I should pop over and just-”
“You’re not going to bite him.”
“I didn’t say I would.”
“Every time you say you’re gonna ‘just talk’, someone ends up with holes in their neck. I’m not cleaning up another one of your messes. Stay where you are.”

4: fetch

I wore the darkest sunglasses CVS had to offer and I even brought a laptop to make it look like I was doing something important—but I don’t think anything could’ve appropriately hidden my boredom. Or this fucking migraine.
My fingers jittered around a to-go cup. It was my second espresso of the morning and it wasn’t even ten AM. I clung to the caffeine for some kind of solace while my squinted eyes flitted between red and white jerseys. The only number I was supposed to be watching was eleven, but there was so much going on. The high school lacrosse team was running drills. It was my job to supervise the morning practice and make sure Scott didn’t fuck anything up before the full moon tonight.
I sat at the edge of the lowest bleacher, all the way to the left side. It was easier to slip in and out in case I needed to make a quick exit. I knew Scott would sense that I was here whenever he decided to pay attention. But Stiles would be none the wiser. The two of them looked like they were bickering where they sat at the edge of the field, and it appeared that neither of them had spotted me yet. So, I sipped my drink and scrolled away on the laptop, because the sunglasses made it look like I was actually paying attention to the screen.
