My state is in an usual winter drought right now. But I have to admit…I’m really loving all this super warm December weather! It’s been solidly in the 40s for awhile and may get up to 50 soon! And despite it being Christmas…I’m not asking for any snow 😂 I’m sure it will come soon enough, along with low temps. For now I’m just going to revel in this weather! 🌅

A delicious harvest #cheeseboard I put together for my family…and a blog post for October. 😁 I did all of this on a budget, utilizing stores like @grocery_outlet, @wincofoods, and @biglots. 🎃🦇🕸

Cheeses were Prairie Sunset, espresso marbled Alpine Cheddar, bourbon smoked Gouda, baby Swiss, and herbs de Provence marinated Feta. Also had 3 kinds of olives, dill gherkins, marinated asparagus, dried cranberries, almonds, roasted pumpkin seeds, candied walnuts, strawberries, apples, and pears. Served with baguettes, assorted gourmet crackers, plantain crisps, black garlic cheese spread, and fig spread. 🎃🦇🕸

No salami for me (vegetarian), but my family loved it. Those black grapes were so good and paired beautifully with the deep orange color of the #PrairieSunset #cheese. 🎃🦇🕸
