Would anyone know how I could go about trying to keep this image / print on a pop socket from completely rubbing off? I got it off Amazon which I know can be sketchy cause lots of bootlegs, but after only a week it’s already coming off!!
I’m thinking maybe nail polish? But that may come off too right? Idk maybe resin? I never used that tho I what to try. I might not use it for a while just to keep it from rubbing off more but I’m sad about it now.😔

I needed new popsockets for my phone, so I ordered a few. I also wanted a brain rot one, so I grabbed a nebula and decided to write on it myself instead of paying another $20 for a custom.
(Thank goodness for all the cosplay supplies, this was ezpz! I’ll clean it up in layers. Acrylic paint pen + enamel metallic paint)
Also per usual, I got one cute popsocket of all 3 of my cats and then one horrifically ugly one.
Not to complain about enshittifcation but my extremely expensive custom popsocket (and very important to me comfort object) is falling apart after less than a year and im really upset about it? I’ve been through a good many popsockets over the years but the ones I’ve thrown out have only ever had the print worn off or been stuck on phone cases I can’t save them from. They don’t usually break at all before they just get otherwise retired. The last one I had truly break a couple months ago was on it’s like, 3rd or 4th year and 2nd phone. Those were all $10 ones. Meanwhile I paid soooo much money for this custom gerard one and the rubber is tearing! It’s breaking in such a way I can’t even save it!!
And like. I can replace it and I will I’m just. Double barreled upset. 50% because popsockets I feel like used to be way better quality and 50% bc like. this is my comfort object. The reason I don’t normally carry fidgets is bc my popsockets have always been my fidgets. I pop them and spin them and lock and unlock them all day long.
