The words came as… daydream worthy. Something Ty Lee might’ve thought someone saying to her, someone blurry in the recesses of her mind. Or maybe a dream she’d reach out yet just be short of reaching. Never reality. Never true.
It was only at Azula’s assured gaze, the same gaze she always gave Ty Lee. Something that was for her. Her smile grew just a bit, still the playfulness inherent to Ty Lee sparkled bright in her eyes. She giggled, light and airy.
“Well! That makes gift giving a ton easier. Maybe I won’t have such a bad time picking out a birthday gift…” the last words resembled something akin to a mumble, small but her voice grew at her next words, “it’s the same for me too, y’know? Who wouldn’t treasure a gift of any kind given by the Princess Azula? The most wonderful girl I know!!”
Maybe, sometimes, reality was greater than daydreams.
there needs to be a place where performers looking to persue a career on stage can vent. i just make myself cry looking at some skinny blonde on tiktok who has a giant social media following, involved parents who put her onstage at a young age, and a high school with a highly funded theater program who can only maybe riff and struggles through head voice. she’s good but this is the girl who will beat you your whole life, the reason you’ll never get into a top bfa program or ever have a chance in following your dream. but we stick to toxic positivity and tell young performers rejection is par for the course and that if you just work or practice hard enough you’ll get an opportunity. i’m lucky, so much more privileged than most people could dream to be and i still have nothing but my voice at the end of the day. being barred from social media and going to basically special ed school with no theater program doesn’t help that

Seriously. Throw a tantrum, cuss, be aggressive, do wild shit, harass others to death, show off and spend money, be lustful and just think with your ego, get physical super fast, ghost as soon as you get what you need, gaslight and never be uwu sweet seductive, punch walls even. always aim to win, life will never be fair for you, you have to cheat it.

I fucked up some of my parts in the songs and I was right next to the microphone so even though it was probably ok for the audience the recording is going to pick it up really badly and it’s going to be on our intranet site so I feel physically sick with mortification
If it was songs I didn’t know it wouldn’t be so embarrassing but I know I can nail those parts and I didn’t. Fucking nerves.

Keep Forgetting is one of my all-time faves. Take 6 has always delivered a smooth, enjoyable sound. His voice is still good; Father Time takes from us all, but he’s gifting us with his talent.
