This is the reason why I struggle with commissioners

I don’t have any ideas for my oc x canon that is bubbly x pomni so I search a lot of art styles I like and I reach out to RQ them

the problems are I can’t pay them because one I can’t afford it and two I don’t know HOW I’m gonna pay them because I don’t have a card to pay them off so I would have to draw for them back or they would have to be free artwork.

Im not a really good artist and I oftenly struggle with drawing certain poses and I can only do a limit or certain stuff I CAN draw but I dont want to draw the same things over and over again.

And If they say no, I’m not gonna scream and cry like a damn toddler nor trash on them Because my favorite artist can’t draw for me like I’m not gonna force their ass to draw something I want because I don’t have money and even if they did accept it, I feel bad for them drawing for me for free because it feels like they worked so hard for nothing and they wasted all their effort just to get nothing in return.

Like yeah I got what I wanted but at what cost? What do THEY get? Do they even get REWARDED? Do they get SOMETHING for it? Like they can’t go empty handed so it’s hard for me to do shit like this because I have to think about the artist if they draw me smth and then get nothing at the end because of something I don’t have.

And no I’m not guilt tripping you to draw for me for free this is just a PSA on what I want to let out and what I struggle with when it comes to art.

This random person DM’d me saying they accidently reported one of my other accounts because they meant to report someone with a similar pfp and user to me. Don’t know what they could be scamming for, but just be careful.

Please let people know. Honestly, we as an app need to start posting whenever we come across new scams. I sucks to think that someone might fall for one of these

I wanted to get more requests done sooner, but with how much I was working it wasn’t possible. You know I genuinely cannot understand people not taking the scarred hand seriously, because ‘they’re just some extremists, nothing to worry about.’ When they are literally led by Mephistopheles. They have the means to alter the political climate of other nations, like DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY DID TO DELLA, BECAUSE IF YOU ARE UNAWARE THEY STAGED A COUP, AND SUCCESSFULLY INSTATED A TWIAN GOVERNMENT OF COURSE THEYRE A THREAT.

Here’s Tea with another discord hacker warning because I’ve heard of two people getting hit with this one in the last 24 hours.

Here’s an example of it that I dodged last year, which follows the same script:

Usually it starts with “hey, how are you, can I ask you a question…” and through some way or another will ask you to click a link (which may look trustworthy like an “official website”, YouTube, itch.io, Steam etc) or download a file, perhaps a game or a project they’ve made, or a gift for a friend. That link or file will lose you your account.

So, please be on the lookout for this and be 100% sure it is your friend behind the screen. They can be any user, including ones you’ve not spoken to in years. You might find that they don’t greet you the usual way or may try to brush past any attempts you make to make real conversation.

However, the people(/bots?) behind the hacked accounts are potentially using quickly-scavenged info from DM’s to answer your usual safety questions (we noticed this in one case today) so you’re best off asking questions that are harder to find answers for, such as “what’s my accent like?” if you’ve been in voice calls or anti-answers like “how’s your new puppy?” for someone who doesn’t have a dog. The scammer (or AI) may play along. You can also just say “sorry, can’t help you” - they will likely disengage if you don’t play along with the ploy, while a real user will likely continue to chat after you say no.

(I did the last one in the above example, and the user messaged some time after to tell me they’d been hacked.)

If you find the account is dodgy, do not click links or downloads and do what you can to limit that account’s ability to wreak havoc (if you’re a mod, remove them from your servers until they’re restored) on your network of friends. Alert the account owner however you can. Save + delete any sensitive info or images from your DM’s too (ie if you shared any addresses, gift codes, phone numbers) until the account is secured.

If your account has been compromised, you’ll need to get in touch with Discord yourself to try and regain it. You’ll have to submit a ticket. Run antivirus software to be safe. Try and get in touch with friends via other means to alert them. If Discord has your bank details (like nitro), be on the lookout for unauthorised purchases. Change your passwords, especially to crucial websites. Good luck, and I’m sorry this happened to you.

Please don’t think “I’m too smart to fall for this”: hacker methods like this rely on that sense of security. Unlike the last hacker warning I made, this one doesn’t try to panic you. It’s a lot more subtle social engineering, and counts on you being a good friend. Stay safe!

I know it says my dms are open (and they really are I’m always down to chat), I don’t even mind if they’re horny dms, but I do ask that people be respectful as in say “hi, how’s it going? I saw xyz post, are you into that?” As like a bare minimum? I know we’re all on tumblr but consent is still a thing, and there are real people behind these blogs.

Sure, I’m into cnc, breeding and a variety of other kinks but when I look at a blog that is very focused on one thing and there’s no regard in the message to get to know me or treat me as anything other than a stand in for a fantasy, that’s not ok. Go write your own smut and leave me out of it. 🤷🏽

Hi everyone, quick info: A while ago someone requested to add Dead Heart to their collection on AO3. It seemed to be their personal collection with fics that they like/are reading, so I decided “why not” and approved it.

I am, however, aware that this would make it possible for that user to hide the collection, which would then also hide the fic. If that happens or there are any other issues in general, please let me know and I will fix whatever needs fixing!

Guys. GUYS!!!! I’m BEGGING you! Please stop putting “I’m a minor” in your bios. You open yourselves up to groomers. I understand the point is to avoid sexual conversations on the site of perverse adults (said lovingly) but you can quickly and easily block someone starting conversations that make you uncomfortable, it’s a lot harder to recognize when someone is kind and respectful, gaining your trust, and slowly eroding your boundaries intentionally because they know you’re a minor.
