Cancel you’re premium subscription and tell staff that you cancelled because of what they did to reblogs:

Rollback this change. This change is going to fundamentally change tumblr in a way that removes the core of why we’re all here. The collaborative nature of tumblr posting, and the reblog chain AS IT WAS, is why 95% of us are here. By implementing this change, you’re punishing artists for any commentary someone else makes. DO NOT keep this change; roll it back. This isn’t a “oh tumblr users are so resistent to change!” issue; this is a “you are removing the core of what makes this website a disirable place to spend time for tha vast majority of users” issue.

Taking away visibility and control of their own post from OPs is is a terrible change, and will drop interaction rapidly as people will hesitate to “steal” notes. This will in turn erode/destroy the community created by people interacting with one another across posts repeatedly/with varied members.

VIEWING the chain is a cool idea, removing the ability for anyone, but especially the OP, to see everything together is awful. This will make the site seem dead, discourage people who create posts, and make browsing posts for contrasting opinions much more difficult. If we can’t view reblog chains and “subscribe” more people in the chain to notifications without breaking the core site functionality then I do not want it. Combined notes are fundamental (and I am already annoyed enough as it is about them being visually split recently).

But anyways, with the one piece live action trending again, I’m tempted to continue the anime. The only reason I fell off is because dear god the pacing was atrocious. But the live action does kinda aid me in that it covers arcs then i can just swap over to the anime to pick up where it leaves off.
