‘Soaked scenes’ contemplates the underrated value of idle scenes of our surroundings by photographing and experimental natural dyeing. The exhibition is a part of A4 collective’s on-going project, in which the collective uses artistic practices for seeking for new ways of seeing our habitat curiously and respectfully and re-examining critically the agency of human in ecosystems.
A4 collective is a Helsinki based art collective formed in 2017, consisting of visual artists Anni Haunia and Elvira Eilittä. A4 develops artistic praxis that aims for social and ecological sustainability. The collective worked in Mustarinda art recidency in Hyrynsalmi, Finland in 2022, where the collaboration with Entrance Gallery started. Previously the collective’s work has been exhibited in both private and group exhibitions in Finland.
The project was funded by Kulturfonden, the Municipal District of Prague 6, the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, and Gestor – The Union for the Protection of Authorship.
