Masculine and feminine energy
It is so trendy these days. Once again, putting labels and categories on people. Who has masculine or feminine energies. Now, I do not deny that each of us has both energies within, but I am rather taken aback by how everything is becoming marketing. You know, I often observe that the same people then write about Lilith/Medusa, which is also becoming marketing in many ways (I wrote on my page, as you can find below, that Lilith is more than just a mathematical point to me. With the transit of Uranus, which has been on Algol since 2023, I admit I am discovering more of that Medusa; it feels like an addition, or less tolerance for many things, and I have become more, shall we say, sharp-tongued—I am starting to stand out from the crowd more. Simply put, even I am starting to realize that I am somehow “too much”). Yet these same people often tell you that you have too much masculine energy, a phrase that is being used in every possible way regarding us women. So, on one hand, I write about Lilith, Medusa, or Kali, and on the other, “women are in their masculine energy,” and I ask: to what extent is that person living Lilith, Medusa, or Kali within themselves? To what extent do they have them integrated? Because if I have something fully integrated, I won’t be writing that women are in their masculine energy. I dare say that women have finally discovered their own Lilith (just a note: Lilith truly has a different coloring for everyone; for me, it doesn’t matter what house or sign she is in, one just notices that everyone operates differently), or Medusa, or Kali within themselves, and they no longer want to be “less.” That we women have finally realized our own being, our true power. After all, Lilith is no fragile flower; above all, she is sensuality. Kali is the power that could turn a battlefield into a river of blood. A river of blood! But women have masculine energies. River of blood, my ass! That is still nothing compared to Baba Yaga, but all these archetypes or those parts of us were never fragile or soft.
The way I see it, we women have finally discovered the primordial source of power, voice, and self. Women are starting to realize more that being “too much” is okay. That it is okay to use your voice, that it is okay to have your temperament, and that it is okay to do things because I want to, not because I have to. Women are not in their masculine energy, not at all! Rather, they have finally discovered what was always inside them, and it is coming to the surface more and more. That strong feminine energy is asserting itself more and more—claiming its voice, and its life. We are finally stepping into our own authenticity. And if you are “too much”? Let them go play in a lower league.

Which Edition of D&D had the best design/artwork of a Maedar?

Haven’t drawn in a while. Here’s a sketch where I wanted to practice different body types.

Ai generated image on the cover isn’t the worst aspect of this book
It’s another sapphic Medusa with Athena

“It was a different god who showed me his wrath,”
There’s a good chance it’s Zeus

She’s living in Athens, her father is a mortal abusive man, her sisters and mother weren’t mentioned in the sample. She’s the daughter of a fisherman but somehow will be allowed to join the temple

Honestly that’s just bad

“mortal, with legs instead of a tail, and therefore condemned.”
The gorgons had legs, the ones with lower body of a serpent were Echdina and Lamia
“Despised by her father and hated by her sisters, she grows up amidst humiliation and violence,”
Of course the writer decided to make Medusa be hated by her family 🙄
“Purity is her rebellion. Chastity is her weapon.”
A woman being virgin!? That’s such a new idea, sure Vanessa you must be the first to do that! 😡
She shoved Iphicles into this bs….
“Can a devotee remain pure when her heart demands otherwise?”
Just have sex with the guy in a random inn or a random point in a forest, trust me that Athena doesn’t care

Well that’s… different

THE STONE AND THE SERPENT is a standalone fantasy romance retelling of the Medusa myth — told in her own words, for the first time.
“For the first time”
… these writers are so pathetic
For readers of Circe by Madeline Miller, A Touch of Darkness by Scarlett St. Clair, and The Witch’s Heart by Genevieve Gornichec.
There’s no hope

Just to inform: her sisters were removed from the narrative
